Right now enjoying the kayfun mini 2.1 es with ekowool/kanthal set up. On my AC9 and ZAP, I've been using 400 ss unoxidized wick with either 28 or 30g Kanthal A-1 coil depending upon which mod I'm going to use for the day (VV or mech). I have the AGA T+, Igo L and Igo S on standby at the moment but have enjoyed those too.

Hi Guys,

I have the Cobra tank. I tried the ss mesh and didn't like the metallic taste. I ordered and just received some charcoal wicks Friday but haven't tried them yet. Any thoughts?

Never tried charcoal wicks before... Some thoughts off the top of my head about your ss mesh: check to make sure you don't have a short or hot spots, perhaps flame the wick a few times with PG (or VG), that the coils aren't touching each other nor are they to far away from the wick itself (snug fit). I also make sure the bottom coil is close to the negative post but not touching base, and the wick isn't touching the cap ...

just got the aga T+, and a China GG. This will be my first tube mod. I resisted, but they got me eventually . I also have been using one of the kanger T3's, I see why you like them so much fox! I just can't get over not being able to use my own mouthpiece. I hope they come out with a bcc that accepts a different mouthpiece. I could see this being an all day for me! I have thought about modding it, but I would want to buy one more first... it's a nice vape and I would rather not risk ruining it just yet

Yea sammy, I just ordered a AGA-T also. Should be here tommorrow or thur. It and my new Sigeli Telescope and it should vbe a Killer combo. I told you guys the T3 was awsomely smooth. It's a GREAT VAPE and easy to clean and re use. I'm getting about 10 cleans and reuse before I rebuild it, lol. DON'T like the MT3 tho. I like to be able to see my juice, lol.

Got my AGA-T2 today, but won't have time to set it up till Wed night or Thur am, lol.

I drilled out my wick hole on my t plus. It works great but I wouldn't do it again. I came dangerously close to ruining it. Drilling through that much stainless, yeah I am not set up for that.

Well So far Soo good with the AGA-T2. It's hitting pretty darn good. But then again so did the others to begin with. Heres a pic of it on my New Sigeli Telescope with the AGA on top.

I think I may need to look into getting on this band wagon. Seems I'm in the market for new tanks after donating my two vivi's to my mom, thus leaving me with no backups.

Any suggestions with getting into RBA? I don't have an advanced mod, only Vision Spinners. I do have a multi-meter to check ohms though.

AGA-T2 or plus. and get a telescope.

yeah, either a 2+ ohm coil on a VV mod, or about a 1 ohm coil on a mech with a 2 cent safety fuse. or dual coils etc. that is what I recommend. I like my chi chi, but I heard that sub ohm coils make the button get hot

I haven't made it all the way through the wick discussions, and at the risk of me outing myself as a hippie (with thoughts that hemp could save the world), has anyone tried hemp yarn as a wick? I haven't gotten brave enough to get a RBA tank yet and make my own, but am now considering it... trying to plan ahead in case the government/FDA get their hands into the vaping world and sin-tax us on all things e-cig related. I'm thinking either cotton, hemp or bamboo yarn, which ever I could find un-dyed and unbleached.

Just got a Zatty U, it's working really well since I removed the wick insulator. Been using it on my Dublin pipe, it works best on a straight pipe so you get the natural tilt when you vape it

Where did you get your ceramic wicks? I haven't seen any of my normal vendors that I use stocking them. I am interested in trying them, but as you know just started with SS wicks.
