hi, I rushed into vaping to smoke less cigarettes and now want what's in the title instead of my Kanger MT3 and mini nova clearos. I'd like the tank to be no more than 3ml, 2.5ml would be perfect. It needs a removable tip so I can ues a rubber one. I have is a 1300mah Vision spinner variable volt eGo battery I hope will work with it. I'll likely be using %100VG and will add a little water if needed to thin it out. If there are totally wickless cartomizers that I punch holes in that will work better for VG or whatever, then whatever you think's the best suggestion. I'd like to keep it as innexpensive as possible, but it'll be my only tank, so if it's $100 USD, I'm okay with that. thank you

So wanting:
-2.5ml-3ml (or slightly larger) glass tank enclosed in metal in case dropped etc with level windows(s)
-can add rubber tip
-SS wick or wickless with heating plate and then punch holes in the carto, or whatever's best for %100VG slightly watered down if needed
-fits 1300mah vision spinner ego
-anything I might have missed you would suggest.

Full size Vision Vivi Nova.

NOT enclosed in glass....you can only get them with metal or plastic tubes.

Youre probably looking for a carto tank in pyrex...check out Valley View Vapes, IBTanked.com or Phiniac.com............If those wont work then RBAS are your best bet.

Zappy,
I think that the Full size is perfect for this user.
He/she is making this up as they go along.
Why a glass tank? Just because S/he heard they are better. The rest of the "wish" is for a device that has not been invented yet: "SS wick or wickless with heating plate and punch hole sin carto".
I respect your opinion and your desire to help, I just feel the OP still needs to have her/his hand held.

Thanks.

^sorry, that was my way of basically asking for someone who knows about SS wicks, punch-hole cartos, etc to suggest what's best for what I'm trying to accomplish because I know almost nothing outside of the popular silica wick clearos, and could spend all day researching but likely still get better info asking here.

I want glass because I know it's healthier, especially if it heats up, plus I don't want to risk menthol/cinamon breaking a plastic tank even if it's enclosed in metal like a kanger mt3.
It's probably 'greener' and about the same cost to manufacture as plastic if not cheaper, so I think it should be standard or at least popular for all these eGo clearos. Just enclose it in metal like the Kanger MT3 and put a juice level window or two, and it can be dropped and will last so much longer, plus the threads won't strip (could they have made the threads any less course on the mini nova?).

Thanks for the suggestions Zapped, I'll look into adding a custom SS wick if applicable with some of these, read SS is healthier and tastier.

UMM because she stated in her OP that she wanted glass. I'm well aware of this particular posters needs, shes stated on numerous occasions that she doesnt like plastic, even preferring glass bottles.

Even if I agreed with your last statement, I was just presenting her with her two best options. She's obviously on these forums seeking help.....and dont ever call me "zappy" again

You're probably going to have a hard time finding something with an SS wick that's not going to look ridiculous on an eGo. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that wouldn't make it look like a hammer.

^What he said. I have an ego-T and a Twist. Got a 3.5ml cartotank and had to buy an adapter for looks rather utility. Still didn't look that good!

I'm finding a few things wrong with this so far.

First off, yes, carto tanks work with 100% VG - I don't know where this 50/50 thing came from. If you have real thick juice, you gotta punch real big holes. I don't know where all this tiny hole carto punch stuff came from, I usually punch two 1/8" or slightly larger holes and it works a treat. I use a sharp deck screw and a hammer to get the hole started, then open it up using a small philips head screwdriver with a hammer. I've never watered anything down, and as long as the carto isn't a dud they never leak. I've always been shocked by these "prepunched" cartos that are being sold, it's a wonder they manage to soak up anything other than straight PG with those little pinholes.

Secondly, and getting back to the OP - I don't believe you're going to find anything that works with SS wicks that an ego battery will be able to drive. I don't believe anything comes out of the box with a stainless wick yet, and because of the heat loss in a metal wick you need more power than an ego battery will be able to dish out. Is the stainless thing coming with a hope of thick VG compatibility? Are you just looking for something to work with thick juice?

I'm not 100% sure what OP is asking, but I'd get a pyrex/borosilicate glass carto tank. They're fairly durable, you can absolutely get them in 2-3mL capacities and you can tweak the cartos to your juice needs. I'm not aware of any metal encased glass tanks, but if you're gunna drop it from a large enough height then the proposed metal sleeve wouldn't do much to protect it from the impact shock. It'd probably shatter anyways.

Check out this video from jc west. Shows a rebuildable tank(monstermesh from gotvapes) with a vision spinner. You will more than likely have to go with a metal tank over a glass one, in order to stay under the $100 budget.

Edit: sorry, forgot the link. http://youtu.be/Tzhkqx62Gls

the metal vivi nova tanks don't have windows, I'd rather vape out of plastic/solid glass to see the juice level. I want glass because it's got to be healthier when it heats up and won't leach chemicals.
I was hoping for something like this BliSS Genesis Atomizer but smaller
CLOSEDBliSS 4 Mega

"Is the stainless thing coming with a hope of thick VG compatibility? Are you just looking for something to work with thick juice?"
Well, I searched some threads and read SS is tbetter taste and healthier.

I dislike the idea of relying on o-rings to keep everything sealed like how most carto tanks are, seems like I'd be replacing o-rings often and always worry about leaks. I'll search, but if anyone knows of a sealed tank they reccomend, go ahead. But I might but a bigger mod set up to use an SS wick afterall after I learn about those.
thanks
