In my mailbox yesterday was an envelope from Universite De Geneve, took me a full minute to figure out why I was getting mail from Switzerland. When I took the last survey Professor Etter put out there, I indicated I would be willing to be a part of further testing. I guess they took me at my word since they mailed a collection kit. :) It went back in the mail this morning along with another questionnaire they included. They also offered to send me my continine results as well as a copy of the study when it's finished.

Anyone else that participated in the Geneva online survey and said they would be willing to be a part of further research, keep an eye on your mailbox!

got mine and sent it back in...will be interesting to see the results

HI KjAthena! I didn't do the survey or get the test, but I'd sure be interested to know when you get the results, also what level of nicotine you used for 10 days before the test. That test was what got me interested in vaping! A friend of mine was telling me that she was going to be getting that test this year from her health plan. Last year she passed the "nicotine test" by stopping or cutting back smoking or something for a day before. But I looked up this test and you have to stop smoking for a good 10 days before. I began to wonder if I "added" vaping as a "smoking-like activity" could I then at some point cut it to 0 nic for 10 days if *I* had a test like that coming up? My friend who said she "had one of those e-cigs she ordered it off the internet" was not interested in trying this! <sigh> And so began my vaping journey (and my loss of interest in smoking and QUITTING in about 2 weeks time!). I hope some people post here what they "got" on that test and also what nic level they used for at least 10 days before. Thanx!!

I got one and sent it out Monday. Did everyone ask to be informed of their results? I did. I'm really curious.

oh, and was anyone confused by one of the questions? Something about the capacity of your cartomizers in mg?

Yeah, that one made me do a double take as well. If you're vaping 10 mg per mL (earlier question) then how would that change when you put it in your delivery system? Very weird. Ah well, hopefully they'll get it figured out anyway.

Congrats on the easy quit PhoenixD! I plan on posting my results here when they come in, and hopefully others will too. :)

I put that my tank would hold 2.5 ml @ 12 mg/ml, so 30 mg total, but I drew an arrow down to the bottom and wrote that I wasn't sure what they were asking.

I'll post my results here when I get them. I did have 1 portion of snus about 3 days before I did the sample though, so that will have some effect I'm sure.

I will be happy to share the results when they arrive. I vape differing levels of nic every day. before the test I was vapeing 24MG in the early am...decreasing to 18MG for the daylight hours and dropping to 11MG after dark. Since then everything has dropped down a level....so for purposes of comparison my nic would be on the higher side( I estimate 18 to be closest at that time)
