It is part of a project being run by the University of Geneva, Switzerland and the results will be published.
We looked at the circumstances surrounding the request, and it appears that the research is independent, connected with social / medical research into smoking cessation methods, therefore ECF supports this research project.

Hello,
We are conducting a questionnaire survey on electronic cigarettes.
The answers will help us better understand who are the users of this product, how the product is used, and what are the opinions of users.
This study is independent of manufacturers and sellers of electronic cigarettes and tobacco and pharmaceutical industries. It was approved by the ethics committee of the University Hospitals of Geneva. It receives no external funding. The results of this analysis will be published in a scientific journal.
