Two things, the throat hit rightnow seems a little harsh

Drop Nic. level or wattage or both.

I like the idea of the really small unit.

It's halo tribeca. Regular formula. I use nic free, but have some 18mg that I will put a drop or two in if I feel the need. I also have a nic free high vg I add some to, but didn't want to use too much to hinder perfomance. I'm just suprised that I can't get more vapor with this more than my halo vape pen.

I have the i-stick Pico /Nautilus X, with 1.8 Aspire coil and 18 mg Nicotine. Perfect, satisfaction, cuts craving down almost to nothing. My ry4 double tobacco juice hits the spot too

Since l am using a higher Nicotine, l have gone down in watts. I am normally at 7.8 to Sometimes 8.9 l have found d the higher Nicotine the lower wattage is better for flavour. When l was at 12 mg l was at 14 watts. Also l find the higher Nicotine l don't chain vape like l use to

I have also noticed since l have switched to 50:50 juice my coil last longer, mind you there is a sweetener in it, Carmel. 1.8 last me 8 days, l know that's not that long but compared to 3- 5 days with the 1.5 there is a difference and l vape alot

What wattage do you use with the 1.8? Did it take a while to break in?

As long as you prime the coil-. (4 drops of juice on each side of coil then let sit in juice 10-15 minutes , and make sure coil is screwed in snug you should be good to go

This combo seems to be getting better and producing more vapor and better flavor as I go along. On day 3 now with very light use. There are just so many variables with wattage and air flow and liquids. I have the coil setting on "SS". Anyone know if this is where it should be? I don't really understand that portion of the pico's menu, outside of there being three different coil material settings.

What Pico do you have? Mine is 75 watts- l have it set to show wattage, volts, resistance of coil. You should Google how to set yours up, l know by clicking it so many times you can set it how you want it to read. Maybe someone else can help. I have my airflow set at a quarter open, the store l bought it from set mine up but if you have the manual or just googled, there are videos on how to set it up

SS refers to the metal of the coil. SS is stainless steel which can be run in wattage or SS mode, Ni is nickel and can only be run in nickel mode, ti is titanium and should only be run in Ti mode, etc. Kanthal is a power (wattage mode only) metal.

Yeah, definitely stick to standard power mode when using the Naut X. It should show your Watts on the right.

SS is for temp control coils, and is a whole other thing that you don't need to mess with. I find that around 14W is my sweet spot for 50/50 juice, but it does seem to depend on the juice, and VG PG level if I use something else.

I have mine on wattage. lt was Electro108 that didn't know how to set up, l find my sweet spot when using higher Nicotine around 8.0 and 14 when l am using 6-12 mg of Nicotine. Thanks for the info, l am still a newbie

Thanks for the info. I will switch it over. The Nautilus x has Kanthal coils I believe. I've been running it around 18watts as long as I'm using some airflow, otherwise, it's way too hot
