Hey all. I hope everyone is having a great evening.

My normal day-to-day setup is a Lavatube v. 2.5 with a Kanger Protank II and I couldn't be happier with it.

However, I had a nasty spill while out at the bars a few weeks ago that ended up shattering my Protank and scuffing up my Lavatube a bit. After buying a new Protank and long story short, I've decided to make that setup my home setup and avoid taking it out in public.

This leads me to my actual question. What kinds of portable VV/VW devices do some of you recommend for taking out in public? I think I'd like something a bit slimmer, easy to charge, easy to put in my pocket, durable and able to connect via 510 (I've become a huge fan of the Phoenix bottom coil cartomizers and I feel like they'll travel really well). I also don't want to throw a ton of money (~$60 I think is my limit) at it as this really will be one that I'll bang around quite a bit while I'm out and about.

I'm terrible with brand names outside of Volcano products, but I feel like something with a similar size to an Aro VV or an eGo C Twist is about the size I'm looking for.

So what do you guys think? Any suggestions?

As always, thanks for all of your help!

I have had only Vision Spinners (just like an eGo twist VV), but I have always been pleased with these. I've had the 1100mAh, 1300mAh, and now have 2 1600mAh. The 1600mAh will last more than a day of frequent use on one charge. It is shorter than the lava tube, but taller than the 1300mAh battery. It's 510/eGo threaded, comes in different colors as of this month, and has a very easy to see and use voltage dial. Runs about $25-$35.

Maybe use short mode - 18350 instead of 18650 battery?

Because you seem to like VV/VW tube mods with real removable batteries I recommend the Sigelei Zmax Telescopic V3 or V5. Handles 18350, 18490/18590, 18650 and 2x18350 right out of the box. Small size: overall length is 100mm for 18350, 112mm for 18490/18500 and 127mm for 18650. 23mm wide. Built like tank with stainless steel one-piece 510/eGo connector. I have been using my first V3 for over a year. These can be bought from US vendors online for under $50.
