Rectangle wire?

I am thinking about getting some .9mm*.3mm rectangle nichrome 80 wire. I'm thinking it would be similar to using triple core 28g wire. Has anyone ever used it and what are your thoughts? It might be real interesting to clapton.

No it's not ribbon wire. Ribbon wire isn't that thick.

I sure will. It looks interesting. From the specs it's real close in resistance to 24g nichrome 80. I need to order some more wire so I'll give it a try.

Yeah the ss would be good for single spaced coils. I very very rarely use single coils. I think at this point I only have 2 or 3 attys that are single coil. They look good on the rack but I'm getting tired of dusting them. LMAO!

It is their page and ships from them. Not all but a lot of the wire is cheaper on eBay from them
