It turned into a big nothing, but I took time to do some cleanup and maintenance, really needed to do that.
Right now I'm putting the tank wells into the Destroyers, talk about high pucker factor ... one little screw-up and all that work goes over the side .... arrrr!

Ahoy, hope everyone has a great weekend! Anyone have any special plans?
If not, please join the crew of the Red Sky, we have a wonder weekend planned! First we will hit the little village of Corpus Extremis and do a bit of carousing, then up anchor and hit the high seas looking for an easy mark and payday. Please remember to bring yer own cutlass and musket, we don't want a repeat of last month. Quite embarrassing I must say, that schooner crew is still probably laughing.
Finally we will anchor off Broken Tooth beach and have a celebration with free rum, grog and a BBQ of whatever we can catch.
One final note, if you are bringing a pet to the BBQ, put a bright ribbon around it's neck, we also don't want another incident like the regrettable "Rover Burger" calamity.

This has been a rough week & looks like to battle with my now former employer has just begun. They told L&I that I wasn't an employee @ the time I was injured because I resigned before the accident! um....yeah, I guess technically not a lie since I gave my 2 weeks' notice that morning but if that meant I had "already resigned" why the hell was I clocked in & working @ the time of the accident? sent an official "protest" of findings to L&I after I saw they had marked my claim as rejected based on that "statement" by my former slave-masters, um I meant "employer".
good news--my back is feeling a bit better, I think it's finally starting to heal
now I'm hoping I get that call back from last Monday's interview. I filed for unemployment yesterday to cover my bases. this business with L&I bolsters my complaint of false hiring promises I'd say.

thanks pchela! I'm still amazed at the # of lying unscrupulous people in this world. I just hope kharma bites them in the ... for this & the legal system backs it up
