Well, maybe a bit o' porn will kick up a bit o' noise?

Getting ready to be put in the drying rack. Btw, I use cardboard boxes like this to keep from dinging up the wood while I work on them, and it's cheap.

I truly believe, that with this new design with the color contrast scheme, will make for a plethora of color and wood pattern possibilities while keeping cost down by buying scales and not blocks. I could be wrong. But it's just a rant because this batch is just so purdy.

Well, part of that is true I hope, they are prettier than ever imho.

Unfortunately, I could buy large planks of exotic wood big enough to make a dozen mods out of for the price of just one of the knife scales I am using. I am going to try to limit the price increase by using less exotic wood for the body to offset the cost of the knife scales which are costing between $15 to $34 per set (one mod) so far.

I talked about being advised to raise prices last week, but I have decided to veto that and keep the base price the same.

A year and a half ago when I started there were just a few of us wood mod makers battling it out for your attention, but there are over a dozen now and more every month it seems, so I think it is more important now than ever to offer the best mod I can make, at a very competitive price and also offer the best innovations that I can cram into a box as small as I can make!

The base price of the Cutlass & Destroyer will stay $179 and I add the extra cost of wood and options to the price if it is over the limit I have set, basically the extra price of the panel wood. I don't need a huge profit to stay in business, but I do have to pay the bills from month to month and as you know I always cut it pretty fine. :)

I do testify that our Captain is fair and just.

Thanks! And don't forget honest and brave! I actually always try to speak honestly, it is way to hard to try to keep track of lies, fabrications and blatant B.S., and ego is never a problem when your working for about 6 bucks an hour, yo ho!

I like that idea a lot, more affordable means more people can buy. I also like the idea of the preorder web site, that’s where buyers can pony up the money to get a higher priced and more exotic mod.
