Arrr, think I will stop for the night. Watching machines run all day, what fun .. gives you time to think though, that it does.

Think I have a solution to the whole problem. I will also be starting the new batch bright and early Monday.

Have a great weekend all! Yo ho!

Awesome Cappy! Excited to hear that :D

Think I'll head below decks as well. Been a long day. Good night crew, may ye have dreams of fabulous treasures and fair maidens/lads. :p

Just got the DC - N Nightstand caddy! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

My life is so working out right now I can barely stand it!

It is torture to not pull the trigger on that Destroyer II that's left. I have some tanks, but I am "meh" on them generally, so I go back and forth. It would just go so well with my Cutlass II...

I'll get that out to you today. Yeah, I'm the same, tanks are "meh". At least with a carto on a feeder I can still squonk at times to get a better & wetter hit, tanks are too dry for me.

No parting shot today. Insomnia kicking in

Oh yes? My mom used to say, even if you can't sleep, lay down with your eyes closed and rest very still and you get half the benefit of sleep.

Of course my mom was totally wrong, but, she was born in the 20's and didn't many people still think the world was flat too?

Well, there is an ancient method, handed down from father to son for countless generations that I shall pass on to you ..

Collect two acorns from the forest
lay in bed with the two acorns tied to your forehead with a loose cloth
Take 25 mg of Diphenhydramine and a shot of whiskey

If you happen to kick the bucket during sleep, generations to come will ponder over the acorn thing and what it means.

Awesome looking tank system I must say. It looks like the wick/mesh is premade? Hard to tell from the picture, any idea of the price yet?

Thanks pchela. I'm actually 1st on the reserve list! I was specifically hoping it would fit but figured I'd be able to use it even if it didn't.
You can check out the AC9 here AC9PromoPoster. (Cappy, hope you don't mind me posting link. If so let me know and I'll be happy to remove it.) You can also google it and the developer is posting on you tube. It is set to release in 4 to 6 weeks.

Good morning everyone! Coffee and Cutlass in hand and relaxing quite well thank you ;)

Cappy, I haven't seen any mention of price yet but I'll be keeping my eye out. I have mixed feelings about commercial Genesis systems. Commercial ventures are going to improve them and innovate which I always think is good. As well as make them readily available to everyone. But Raidy, who invented the Genesis, gave the design to the vaping community with explicit instructions that it not be made and sold for profit. I appreciate his good will but also think, since most people don't have the skill to do machine work, he should have licensed it.

If you want an interesting read or skim, here is his thread. It could be called "the introduction to the genesis rebuildable atty".

Just found the solution to all your problems, you just need a few employees. Here, watch this video. I hear they work for super cheap! :)

Good morning crew! Saturday ho! Took long enough :p

Probably going to be a busy one, I dropped my "honey-do" list and broke my foot under the weight. I've got some drain traps to clean and decks to wash!

On a side note, I bought some SC Johnson paste wax for wood furniture. That's the right stuff for the uber-shine correct?

Well, just 6 days in and I think I already lost an addy! Can't wait till my ERA gets here! Joye gold band 510. Working good one minute, then, no vapor. Hiss went down to a very faint whisper and NO vapor. Waho, don't know how you get them to last so long. Going to try a vodka soak before I toss it.
BTW, of course I tried a fresh atty and all is back to good.

My personal atty care regimen is to do a weekly 1hr 100 proof cheap vodka bath (151 proof is the highest allowed in Michigan and therefore expensive) then after the soak take a syringe and jet some of the vodka in from the bottom battery connector of the atty. This usually shoots little black chunks out (gross!). Blow the vodka out from the bottom and let dry on paper towels for a few hours.

I've used them directly after this procedure and you get a slight vodka taste for a hit or two, but they work fine in my experience.

Then when I'm done using the atty, I blow it out and drop 3-4 drops of plain pg in the atty. Before using again, blow pg out and squonk, wait a minute, squonk again and vape! Dripping pg in after use seems to slow down the gooing up effect of ejuice, and also soaks up extra flavored juice in case I swap flavors.

Your mileage may vary of course, but this works really well for me thus far. In the last 6 months, I've lost two 306's from the slow sizzle death and the lone Joye from cutlass ii user error. :p

Sorry for the ramble, got carried away.

How do you guys make attys work? I got some cheapo LR Smoktechs to try, and either I get little vapor at all, or they flood and I suck juice. I have no issues with cartos whatsoever--save they don't last as long as I'd like. It seems lately both Smoktechs and Boges don't last as long as they used to. I used to get 2+ weeks, now I get a couple of days.

Ahoy, hope everyone had a good day today?

Gonna stop for the night, got some equipment maintenance done including tuning up the new bandsaw. I also finished the first of the revised dual level caddy, I added two ego holes, squeezed in another tank and atty hole plus switched to galley spindles instead of pegs. It still needs to be finished, I just sanded it so far.

Good grief, I got the spindles in upside down in the picture, lol... long day. They are not glued in place so I can ship in a small box instead of a medium.

Up on the website tomorrow.
