Evening all, been busy the last few days been playing Borderlands 2 with the kids.. Thanks for the heads up on the A7 co-op Waho, I have been looking for some reasonable rebuildable's for awhile now, I am sure one of these are going to look might fine on my Cutlass 2.. Now to fine the crap I need to rebuild them..

The 32g from vapoligy may not be ideal for your needs then. A 4/5 wrap of 32g nets me ~1.8-2 ohms. You'd need a larger gauge of wire I think. Don't quote me on that though, I've been rebuilding for like 2 weeks

Good morning crew! Just got word the era co-op is shipping today so I hope to have it by the weekend so I can tinker! The reo folks rave about them so it should be a good time.

If anyone has any inspirational images or phrases for my brother for banner/avatars send me a pm and I'll pass them along. He's pretty busy what with melting his video card while doing homework but I'll put the lash to him!

Just popping in to say good morning me 'earties!

Just spent a couple hours going through 3,100 knife scales on ebay, been a week since I looked so needed to go through them all...me poor eyes arrrr starting to bleed.

Found a goodly handful of them to consider, judging by color, species, size, pattern, how it was cut. For example, much of the knife scale wood is "end grain" cut, very pretty but very weak for a mod door. Also, many people wet the wood to take pictures which compromises the whole process of air or kiln drying the wood and promotes additional warping so I usually don't buy those either.

It takes months, sometimes years to properly dry lumber, building with green wood you risk certain shrinkage and cracking so I avoid that too.

I tried a dual coil today, it just blew my socks off...too tough for me, back to a single coil. Might try a genesis style though this week end...
I can tell you guys that if you have the chance to get either an ERA, or a Chalice for your B.feeders, don't think twice! And they fit perfectly on the Mark-8/Cutlass 5.1/Cutlass II, no need for an adaptor

Arrrr, time to quit fer the night. A good day in the shop, got a lot done and I will try to keep up the momentum. I only have one Cutlass and a few Cruisers left from last batch so I am going to try to make more for the website this time around.

I also have to try to make time to do a couple of desk caddies. I've updated the design on some of them but can't offer them until I get some examples done and there is just one desk caddy left for sale. One thing fer sure, I never lack fer something to do around here.

I'll be down in the galley if anyone needs me.... Hey! who's been feedin' the parrot beans? I hates that ....what a mess..

Time for bed... Just spent three hours setting up my very first genesis. Hoping this set up lasts a looooong time, not looking forward to that again anytime soon.
