Wonder how the life span of those 5v batts is, heard initially that they ran out fast? Good option to save some VV bucks if you are happy at 5v though....

I used them for a short time, didn't care for them, they didn't last too long at all, but they were only 600mAh so what is there to expect right? They rock 2 ohm atty's in the cutlass tho! Gotta keep it wet!

I was actually looking at 1002, being all CTM and pretty white, how a engraving of a Knight or something would look. I could paint it silver or something.

I like that one too... i work in a machine shop and sometimes its hard to get all the mess off the hands, would be afraid of it transferring to that perty finish!

Dual mode Cutlass? Someday there is going to be a Cutlass II version methinks, with an instruction manual and "Atty Killer" mode warning stickers too, arrr! :D

I usually got 2-3 hours on them but I vape about 10ml a day so I would say I am a heavy vaper. I prefer the kick over 5v though because it is regulated. And I prefer my Cutlass over the kick because I han get exactly what I like which is normally around 11 watts.

I'm just using what I learned from others, 3.7v 18650, 1.5 ohm atty to give around 9.5 watts. Thats about what I'm used to. Tastes pretty right on the mark too.

I Suppose to use a kick you would just have to attach one wire to the ground tab? Never thought about it as it's just cheaper to get a Mark-7 (which I realize I don't have for sale, sorry), arrrr

Did you mean carto when you said atty? since mark-10 is for tanks.
I guess I just assumed that all LR cartos are around 2.2ohm which is true with boge cartos, and that's why I just assumed 18650's 3.7v might not give enough power.
Are there some good 1.5 ohm cartos you or anyone would recommend?

Yeah, meant carto. I got these and some 2 ohm from madvapes, they seem to work fine altho I am far, very very far from being any kind of carto expert. I run a bottom feeder, titan atties and the same mix of juice every day, for over a year now I think. About time I expanded my universe I suppose.

Tank Replacement Dual Coil Cartomizers, 1.5 Ohms, Single Hole

Gonna try to get some sleep, later me 'earties, arrrr

Holy smokes! Where did the time go? Been busy re-arranging the shop, I have some changes in the layout to make, machine maintenance to perform and a lot of other jobs that have been waiting on me for a long time now.

Still have a few mods left on the website which is always nice, I feel like I am in a vacuum when the website is empty of mods. Waiting on parts to finish the last few Mark-8's then I will be done with the batch and can think about whats coming next.

Tomorrow I get some 2x4's and build a bench, wheeee.... uggg

Har!

I was also hoping to see some pics of new mods with new owners, but I guess they haven't arrived yet, maybe tomorrow?

Brian, I will practice my pirate talk and get better and don't even know if this is a correct place to ask but are there plans for any more Mark VII Destroyers in the near future. This would be my first Red Sky mod so not really picky on wood but now using carto tank and vv so it seems like it would fit me pretty good. I watched this batch and the Destroyers had some problems and the one that made it was promised. No real hurry either but a ballpark on the Destroyer would help. Will PM if preferred. Thanks!
Arrr'?

Just rescued my mark 10 marauder from the mailbox! The fit and finish of this mod are truely amazing! Loving the volt meter inside as well. I'll definitely be back for a destroyer in the future :)

Terrible photos I know. The wood always looks so much better in person. Simply stunning! Thank you Cappy, you are truely a master of your craft.
