Sorry that you're not feeling well LL and wish you a speedy get well :) I wish I could send you this heat and humidity we've got here in the PNW!! Personally, I'd MUCH rather have it cooler, even at the expense of some overcast and light rain!! I'm NOT a fan of heat and humidity!!

Hey y'all.. Still sick and still missing the the great weather we've been having.. ugh

Oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaa....I didn't even notice that change until you mentioned it, lol. I did notice that she is a wee bit bigger than my other Destroyer and I knew that the door was going to be thicker, because Cappy said it would be. She seems to be a bit 'heftier' and more 'durable' I wanna say? lol. She's simply AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!

Hey Cappy, i noticed you bevelled the corners of the top caps on all the destroyers and one of the Dreadnaughts.. Looks good , I like it!

I am playing with them more now, testing this and that to see what looks good and what doesn't improve it much.

That cocobolo wood has to be one of the most dense woods I've worked with, hence the weight of it. But for all that it has a bad habit of warping after being cut so I left the door thicker and put more finish on it. Yeah I know, it's weird but it likes to warp even being dense like it is.

All the boxes start out the same size, but by the time I am done with them they all vary a bit in size from all the sanding and shaping I do. Besides the insides which is done by the little cnc machine the rest is done by hand with traditional tools :)

Hiya Cappy and crew :)

Cappy, the size difference is NOT a hindrance by any means...just sumptin' I happened to take notice of ;) I sure hope m'lady don't get osteoporosis on me tho, lol. I'm kinda diggin' the thicker door, especially how you made the edges beveled on it. It is day two and I'm still mesmerized by her.....thanks again for another one of your, as rt put it, masterpieces!!!!
