Happy Friday everyone....It's almost WEEKEND O'CLOCK...followed by BEER:30!!!

Here we go again, down the road we went when the original Cutlass (w/dual mode) came out I don't know how many atties *I* popped trying to figure out...then remember...which mode was which! Wonder how long and if, the same can happen to cartos? Sorry to hear of your misfortune Waho, but it lived a lot longer life than most atties do!

The instruction sheet they come with has a picture of the mode switch layout. Some are different than others depending on the model and batch so it's good to refer to the sheet. I've seen where people have taken a very fine tip pen and written "VV" and "3.7" on the wood by the switch, might not be a bad idea?

The sheet should be a big help Cappy. I just leave mine in VV mode and if I decide to change it....I will NOW remember to take the tank OFF and check the LED reading this time around Marking the mod IS a good idea if you have a memory like mine, for sure!

Ooh, I have a wood burner with a super fine tip. That could look pretty snazzy for marking in lieu of a Sharpie.

That might work, a felt tip of any type might bleed into the wood pretty bad.
