Yea, I really do like the dark woods. My favorite colors are red and black :) It's not that I DON'T like the lighter woods, as more colorful tanks could be matched up with them, but, I'm always afraid they will show dirt more I guess...I know it's silly....but I'm .... that way, what can I say.....

CW, that's a fine fleet you have. I see that you're partial to the darker colors.

That's called propaganda, it works great :D
I'll just wait 'till tomorrow to post a picture of the dreadnought though...might look a bit weird to have like 10 posts with RSMs in less than an hour :p

Edit: Hell DukeBlue, we nearly are Marblewood brothers, mine looks pretty much like yours :)

Yes they do look related don’t they? They must have one good looking set of parents LOL.

I would think that there would be a problem with the juices seeping into the woods, wood cracking, and who knows what else. Even if you put some sort of finish on it...how safe would the finish be for us? Just sayin'.........

Yeah, it's most likely not possible. I'm just spitballing. Crazy kids and our ideas :D

Just thought of something. Cappy, would wooden drip tips be possible? Like using wooden pen blanks or similar stock.

Couple shape designs, some food/inhale safe polish... Bam, Cappy's peg legs!

I dunno, I don't have a lathe as mentioned nor have I done lathe work in the past, can you imagine what they would look like? lol

Also, I'm kinda careful about radically new ideas, anyone remember the wooden eye patch fiasco? In retrospect, NAILS were not a good idea.

Yeah, I would be very hesitant, very very hesitant. Many if not most exotic woods are toxic in one way or another, some via dust and some via contact with a few variety being poisonous ... nah, I don't have the knowledge to safely make tips from exotic wood, too risky for me and you

Hello! Congrats to the winners! Another most generous contest Cappy. Sorry I'm late with the congrats, been off line a lot.
I have seen some acrylics drip tips with a wood look. I don't think wood tips can be kept as clean as a stainless or acrylic- JMHO, as someone who has 2 wood tips that I really don't use for that reason.

Before that thread was posted the other day about Redsky pics I had never seen it. Before I stumbled on a pic of one of your mods on the vape porn website I had never even heard of red sky mods. Those Crusier IIs are great-looking mods at a wonderful price, but you can't make any profit off of them unless people know that they are there. Cappy, imho you have a wonderful product; top line vvs, well crafted $89 box mods (a real bargain and a profit maker), awesome and diverse caddies. Other than raising the price a little(careful though, there is a lot of well respected vv mods @ $200-$225) on the top dawgs you need more exposure. I know at the same price as other top mods I would have still chosen a RSM but I couldn't have if I didn't know you existed.
What about a dedicated vender forum at ECF (granted I don't have any clue what that takes)? It would put your main thread, contests, pictures, tank discussions, rebuildable atty discussions, etc all under one RSM roof.
Anyway, hope I'm not overstepping my boundaries as a newer mate on the ship, I just want to see good things for the accommodating guy who makes a great mod.
And I still like a "pegleg" drip tip! :) Maybe you could resell espresso colored tips or something, lol!
