Coming back to the beautiful wooden mods made by master Cappy .... I lent one of my Cutlass 5.1 to Scott (igetcha) so he could do a review of the Chalice which incidentally works brilliantly on all my RSMs :)

:2cool:

Gorgeous, he did an excellent job on it and it does look good on an old Cutlass model. I just checked and they are out of stock atm, I will have to check back again later.

I happen to have a refurbished Cutlass 5.1 that I've been thinking about putting back in service :)

The Chalice is a great rba, It’s all I use on my Dreadnought. I was lucky to get one from his first batch and will get a second when available. I plan to eventually get a Cutlass II and want to have a RBA for it. He didn’t go into detail about wick materials, I’ve tried silica, cotton, and SS mesh on it. They all work good but I prefer the SS mesh for the best flavor. It looks great and compliments any of the great RSM mods by Cappy.

sorry been m.i.a. for a bit me hearties....but I finally have a bit of good news: L&I reversed the rejection, my claim is now "open/allowed" & my former employer is judged to be 100% responsible! now I just need the nearly 2 months of lost work to be paid & to finish healing (getting better, hoping to get "released" for at least "light duty" work @ next eval on 9/17). oh, & the whole finding a new job-thing :( always fun....lol. have a great weekend everyone.

Glad you’re feeling better and things are looking up in your battles with the former employer.

Absolutely! I have mines setup genesis style (with a mesh wick) and this is my current going out companion ...

It vapes fantastically well and just as good as any of my genesis attys/hybrids with the advantage that it is much more pocket friendly with no leakage whatsoever ... and with an AW 3100mAh 18650 and a full bottle, I am more than covered for a full days vaping!

It also looks vary sharp IMHO, thanks to Cappy's wonderful new design!

 Thanks DukeBlue ...

It's just that I have a decent camera, a couple of lights and some fantastic mods ;)

Years ago I got a degree in photography. It's all in the lights, and the skill of the person lighting the product. It's amazing what you can do with even a pretty bad camera as long as you are lighting correctly. And I agree, iVape2, your shots look really nice. :)

Well, pictures are getting posted so I will add some new ones myself!

They just got their first coat of sealer, next comes more fine sanding and finish coats.

Here are the Destroyer II's and the custom Cruiser II from batch #16. The 2nd one (Padauk) is the only one available.

And here are the Cutlass II's. The 1st, 2nd and 5th are pre-orders (the 5th is MINE and a clone of the one from last batch that I kinda wanted for myself).

No, thank you! :)

I have a couple of kicks but never used them in the Cruiser ... I take it that wire wouldn't affect the standard 18650 use?

No, it wouldn't affect normal use, but I won't add it unless you are gonna kick it, and it would be pretty easy to connect a wire to the negative tab later if you or anyone else wanted to put a kick in them.

wow i really love the 2nd on in the 2nd picture it is stunning

If the future owner is who I think he is... he'll have a pleasant surprise when he gets up!
You've made nice mods Cappy, but I would definitely buy 99% of this batch anytime or at least get the available Cutlass right now if only my budget was not so low!

Congrats on that one!

If you don't mind adding it and it doesn't affect normal use, yes please, it would be nice to have a regulated vape even though the battery won't last all that long ...

Have you considered using the DNA board in some future RSMs?

I've looked at the dna and the kick, and I may be wrong but it seems like they are less capable than the board I am using now and cost quite a bit more, so I have stuck with the current one until I see a better option.

I would really love to see a board in a small package with a built in OLED or something for us modders. I've thought about trying to get the board they use in the lavatubes for my use, but it has limits too.

Talking about the box elder burl? They are pretty and come in various colors, I will have to order some more for the next batch. People also have the option of buying and sending me their own 'Knife Scale' wood for their custom mods.

Can't wait Cappy! The snakewood is Looking good! Now I've just got to find a nice rebuildable genesis style tank atty to go with it that will do cinnamon juice!?! Anyone have any suggestions? I'm on the wait list for the next scuba mini but I'm not going to be able to hold out that long to vape this sweet mod!

Wow! Some of that "knife scale" on ebay is beautiful!
