Wow, what a dead .... day ... guess everyone must be suffering from the "Mondays suck" syndrome ...


I put another coat of finish on the batch and then went to work on a new desk caddy I've been wanting for a while.

I'm sick of my bottles being dumped in a box and rolling around so I redesigned the refilling station, made it look a bit steam-punk and ran one off. It turned out excellent if I may say so and I grabbed the first one and have it on my desk next to the prototype dual level tube holder.

Here ya go. David is putting it up on the website at an introductory price. Bugger takes a bit over 2 hours to make due to all the holes though, but boring holes is always fun stuff.

personal injury update--finally got to speak to L&I case mgr yesterday afternoon & now that claim is "allowed" & company is being held accountable he said he had all the paperwork to cut me a check for "time-loss" for 7/23-8/31 today....1st income since last partial paycheck on 8/5~so really gonna be happy to see that check, & he mailed paperwork to get reimbursed for all the out of pocket prescription payments, which total about $100. may not help my back heal faster but will help my mood & bank account!

Got up and started right with the paperwork side of affairs... trying to get caught up. The new website and cross-accounts has inflated my paperwork a lot more so I have to stay on top of it .... more #*&$^ overhead ... arrrrrr

Batch is still a bit tacky, hopefully I can start building by late today. I was hoping to at least have some cruisers up on the website tonight.

Ahoy and good morning all, happy hump day. Wednesdays are typically the slowest day of the week on ECF from what I have seen, so if yesterday was so quiet ....

I would imagine once summer ends and the weather turns crappy again more and more people will find themselves back in front of their computers and things will pick up.

Yesterday I didn't get much done, got side-tracked several times, I gotta hit it hard today and get mods built, arrr!

Good morning Capt' and crew! Good day indeed for the geek in anyone. Today, of course, is the iPhone 5 announcement. And, while I have no plans to get one, they will also announce when iOS6 will go live. Which will mean a slew of updates to my iPhone 4s, that should be fun. Even though I'm seriously considering trading for a Galaxy S III.

Next up, Photokina is right around the corner. Comes once every two years and is the big photo conference. Already Sony has announced some really sweet new gear (check out engadget for a quick look if interested) and Nikon is expected to announce a entry level full frame sensor camera tomorrow. Something I have been waiting to take a look at.
