Good morning Crew!

Finally got my DID today. It took me about 2 hours to get a working coil...but it's pretty good now. Can't wait to put that on a Destroyer II... I think these two might well be serious competitors to the Cutlass/ERA couple.
I have a shipping notice for my bliSS now. Pics for D2 BliSS later this week. I'm quite sure there will be a nice learning curve for me too.

Arrr, time for a short break.

About half way through cutting out back panels and gluing them in place. This is the slowest part of the whole process now, each panel is of different thickness and width and takes careful cutting to get it right. It has to fit snugly into the inlay slot in the box without any play or noticeable gap, I don't have a second chance to do it if I mess it up. One panel, one box side ... whew.

Going ok so far though!

It takes a steady hand......Buzzzzz! Lol. Reminded me of that old commercial for the game that launched thousands of surgeons careers, Operation.

That's the one. Do you sell them? I sent an email to CS a few days ago. I figured everyone might be at Vapercon.

Hmm, guess I missed the E-Mail, the whole business consists of only me :)

I could send you one, but frankly you would get it cheaper from Digi-key as they offer 1st class shipping, I am setup for just priority mail for shipping of mods. If you want one though, just send me your E-Mail address and I will send an invoice for the switch and shipping and get it out to you.

Sure it's the switch? You could also send it to me for repair if you wish, I never charge very much, probably less than a $25 repair bill for a switch and that includes shipping. The switches can be a bugger to remove, sometimes I have to drill them out.

Digi-key has a ship date of 11/18/2012.

I will send it to you. I will pm you with the tracking info. Thanks.

Sounds like a plan. They might be out of stock because of me, sorry! They are hard to get and I grab what I can when I can, lol.

I will keep my eyes open for it. :)

Well, the end of another day, time to shut down and relax, I'll be around later, arrrrr

Hey all....looks like I'm off work til atleast 12/1...PT is finding more muscle damage right side that were "masked" by bone damage on left (now healed but NO strength.....can't even sit thru a movie b4 pain kicks in due to lack of muscle on 1 side & a torn mess of muscle on the other. But PT is helping. Then of course life kicked me while down..my laptop's motherboard suddenly died (was working fine then suddenly black screen, full shut down. Won't restart & less than 6 hrs b4 monthly external drive back-up was supposed to start, so 9/15-10/15 is possibly lost.....but I hear hard drive spinning, just no start up noises, so hoping data retrieval possible). IF any one has or knows someone w/ a laptop they can sell cheap or on installments, please let me know. Vital for L&I contact (2+ yr old phone can't "handle" their pages :p. Sorry to be begging in thread, but begging everywhere for extra eyes/ears in this matter....
Thanks! AlleyKat (or just Kat)

Thanks RTrain99! Keep having to tell myself I've been through 2 worse injuries & 1 life threatening illness & always made a full recovery (in time)....but it always sucks! At least I'm in physical therapy (week 3) & making slow but steady progress. OFF TOPIC QUESTION(for RTrain99 & any other big rig/long-haulers here): I'm thinking I want to get my CDL (as soon as I'm healed)....been wanting to for years. Got more than a decade of "driving for a living experience" (taxi, delivery driver, driver/route manager) so 12+ hrs behind the wheel is no problem (when I'm healthy) & licensed for/ride or drive anything from car, truck, van, unlimited engine size Motorcycles, large (26' box vans) & my own 30' motorhome. Only thing I'm missing & really want to try/master is big rigs. Advice? Are those "we train & then you work X # of years for us" places ok?
-Thanks again. & appologizies for highjacking the thread....dead computer & weak phone makes PM'ing difficult at best. I won't make a habit of it...Arrrrrrgh!!

Great Hump Day to you all :p

G'morning maties. Answer your question Kat, I've done that and the only thing I can tell you about those contract deals is that you're at the mercy of the company. I was the last to get a run( sometimes getting less than 30 hrs a week dor months on end) and the first to get slammed with over, overtime( sometimes not seeing home for more for 4 hrs). I've driven there for a spell and kinda missed going cross country, but home is where the heart is. So the situations are different from the mainland.

Arrr, evening all. Yup rt, all we can do is "keep trucking" as my generation put it. Seems like most of the people I'm talking to lately are having a bit of a rough time, but just gotta keep going.

My 6 month old laptop suffered a tragedy a couple days ago, my own fault for keeping it close to the table saw but it just needs a new screen.. someday... that little chunk of wood must have been really flying when the saw spit it out. Back to using my 3 year old laptop, fortunately I constantly back up important files to a flash drive.

But hey, we have a roof to sleep under, food to eat and the prospects of a better future, arrr?

Going to knock off for the day, got all the panels cut out and glued into the back of the boxes and started routing the insides out of the ones that are dry. Still have some mods up on the website, looks like I need to have a weekend sale to get them moving, that's parts money collecting dust on me, can't have that!

Couple more days to survive and the weekend will be here again, yo ho!
