Good morning crew!
Had the years first snow last night. Just little wet flakes that didn't stick. It's the earliest snow I can remember in a long time.
Still windy but the rain eased up for the time being. We're not getting it as hard here in the great lakes state thankfully.

Looks like Sandy hit just about as predicted, sorry to hear there has been some loss of life too but some accidents you just can't avoid it seems.
Sandy has also locked down the airports in the area which is a pity as my A7's are stuck in NY for the time being, I'm getting excited about getting those and being able to offer them for sale. Wish I could have ordered more of them but big orders are pricey!
Back to work on the current batch, about 1/3 of them have electronics installed and I will finish the rest over the next couple days. Then I check for dings/dents/scratches I put in during assembly, give them a final sanding if needed, more finish and off they go.
Well, thats about it for new stuff here at RSM, hope your week is going well despite Sandy, arrr!

Been soldering and assembling all day and watching the weather channel out of the corner of me eye..
Sounds like Sandy is setting records and not in a good way and still getting worse.
Think I will knock off now, keep watching tv and relax for a while, arrr

Good morning crew! Happy to report Sandy has all but blew herself apart here in Michigan. Still barely above freezing and wet, but at least the wind has died down.

SO, A PIRATE WALKED INTO A BAR...
......... and the bartender said: "Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. What happened? You look terrible."
"What do you mean?" said the pirate, "I feel fine."
"What about the wooden leg? You didn't have that before."
"Well," said the pirate, "We were in a battle, and I got hit with a cannon ball, but I'm fine now."
The bartender replied, "Well, OK, but what about that hook? What happened to your hand?"
The pirate explained, "We were in another battle. I boarded a ship and got into a sword fight. My hand was cut off. I got fitted with a hook but I'm fine, really."
"What about that eye patch?"
"Oh," said the pirate, "One day we were at sea, and a flock of birds flew over. I looked up, and one of them pooped in my eye."
"You're kidding," said the bartender. "You couldn't lose an eye just from bird poop."
"It was my first day with the hook."

Ahoy all, I'm turning in fer the night pretty quick here. Had a relaxing evening, hope you all had a bit of fun today?
The assemby of the batch is complete, they have all passed final test of the electronics. Tomorrow I inspect them carefully and do any needed sanding and start on the final finish for them. Still looking good for shipping by 11/05/12
I will post some pics tomorrow before they get another coat of finish.

Carved pumpkins with my husband and daughter and then watched a scary movie and ate junk food. Hope everybody else had a good Halloween as well. Goodnight.

I remember when I was a kid I would have a paper shopping bag full of candy after trick-or-treating through the streets of our small town. This is the 3rd year that we did not get a single kid coming to the door. What a sad state it is.
