I definitely burnt it... it tasted like grossness!

I put a mesh wick in it but I'm getting no vapor from it. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Still the same wick Pchela? Burned taste could simply be due to the fact that you tighten the coil too much (or not enough) around the wick. You definitelly need to have a contact in between coil and wick, but not tigten it too much or the juice may have difficulties running through the wick.

By request, here is a current pic of most of batch #19, just a few Cruisers for the website are not shown. I am about to sand and give them another coat of finish. They will get at least two more sandings and coats of finish before I start final assembly. The shipping date of 12/5/2012 still looks good.

Hmmm weird... I just had an A7 this week to try out, still not a specialist of this RBA, but on the ERA, the air hole being on the side has to be well lined up with the coil to get a decent amount of vapor. I guess the A7 takes the air from the connector and the feed hole. Do you have some kind of a tight draw Pchela? Could just be that, you may have pulled the connector too low ?

The only blue county in Texas!
I'll check the connecter. Thanks!

It's fairly finicky with my Cutlass - I have to keep taking it off and lowering the connector in order for it to fire at all. Very strange. It works consistently on the other mods. I don't think bottom feeding it could actually push the connecter up so I'm at a loss on what that is about. I'm used to a genesis atty and building coils with mesh and according to that training, everything is right on this one. But, I've obviously missed something because the vapor is very thin.

Ahoy pchela, it might be the center screw. On mine I have to screw it out perhaps 3 turns before I mount it as it turns so easily that putting it on the mod seems to start to screw it back in. I also tighten it down harder than I usually do with atomizers. So far this has been working well and I'm getting good hits.

Ahoy me 'earties!

The fine sanding and finishing is done again, and these buggers are looking awesome. Now I wait for it to dry and do it one more time, then when dry I start final assembly. Finish them up with another coat and done!

I suppose I should think about setting up for the next batch of pre-orders due to start in another week.

This next batch is going to span the Christmas holidays so I am projecting a 4-6 week turn around, perhaps more.

I am also going to drop the initial price of the Cutlass and Destroyer and hopefully get more USA participation this batch. Europe has been dominating RSM orders last couple batches.

I limited the pre-orders last time, but this batch I am not going to limit them and will take a bunch :)

One reason I try to limit the pre-orders is it allows me to post more mods for sale on the website. After this batch I will have a handful of all models available for general purchase, but they may be nearly the last for a while.

I will have the usual body woods plus Macassar Ebony and I have a few Granadillo bodies left. I have been collecting panel wood for a while now and will get all of it sorted, inspected and up on the website for pre-orders.

Other small changes are always happening around here, I will keep me crew advised of any significant ones, arrrrr
