Ohhh.... prototypes? Can't wait to see!

Working on it, spent the day editing cnc programs and making more desk caddies. I don't like people waiting too long to get them if I can help it. (Got your's made today Waho :)

Now that I'm caught up again, I will try making the door and Electronics cover for the prototypes tomorrow. If they turn out how I hope, then I can put edges on them, pop in some CC/tank holes, and see about finishing them up. If all goes well I should be able to offer either VV or DNA12/VW next batch.

Time to shut down fer the night tho ...

Aye, and another nice thing is I am able to loose some height with the VW design, the Destroyer is 4.5" tall and the Cutlass is 4.8" tall. The other dimensions are the same. The Cutlass is almost an inch shorter than the VV design. Of course, with VW you are limited to 12 watts, but I don't know who needs more than that, I suppose there are some extreme vapers out there, lol.

The DNA12 has been around for a while and confidence in it is high, and it is made by the same manufacturer that makes my current board, so I feel ok offering it now.

I really don't know much about the DNA boards truthfully. Is it still stacked batteries or single 18650? Does it have a wattage display?

The DNA12 uses a single 18650 battery with no LED which is how I am loosing some height in the mod.

I think I may offer both Chet, I'm not certain what percentage of people would like which so I will just give them both options.

I have to finalize the design, but they will certainly be shorter than the VV mods by about 20% I would guess.

The DNA board is a variable wattage board. There will be a small thumb wheel that adjusts the power to the atomizer. It's a simple matter of a slight turn to increase or decrease the power. Once you set it and get nice vapes you don't have to fool with it again as it will always provide the same amount of power irregardless of the ohm's of any new atty/carto/tank or era you put on it.

One reason I am wanting to change is using the A7 ERA. Now I would not have to be careful to make it a certain ohm coil, any coil I make should vape the same as the DNA will adjust the power accordingly :)

Now, that's interesting! RSM + VW, best news ever!! Combining the amazing craftsmanship of these PVs with the DNA 12....
I've been using the DNA for quite some time on one of my other bottom feeders I have, and the VW is definitely the way to go. No more fooling around with the ohms/volts/amps law, just put whatever you want on it, vape away, it does all the rest for you. Plus with all the RBA out there now, you won't even have to think about how many wraps you need to get to X ohms. I just love it and that's something I definitely wanted to have in a Cutlass or Destroyer!

Making them 20% shorter also is very nice, although I really didn't mind the size of the VV ones, but that was the biggest concern for the people who wanted to get a RSM but never actually had one in their hands.

2013 will be Cappy's year :)
