Now that I'm caught up again, I will try making the door and Electronics cover for the prototypes tomorrow. If they turn out how I hope, then I can put edges on them, pop in some CC/tank holes, and see about finishing them up. If all goes well I should be able to offer either VV or DNA12/VW next batch.

Wow away a day and what news a VW RSM

Just to put in my own little feedback while I do love VW power for whatever reason my Kicked devices battery life is MUCH shorter then my Cutlass. Now granted I have cut down my vaping a bit in the past 4 months or so but when I first got my Kick's I did a lot of testing. Using Single coil boge cartos my Kicked mod (don't want to advertise but used 3 different tube mods) got a max of 3 hours battery life from Panasonic CGR 18650's I have tried it with AW 2000 Mah and 1600 Mah also and they both lasted less time and only about 30 min with my AW 18350's However my RSM would easily go 12 hours on a single pair of batteries. Granted at the time I was vaping a whopping 10 ml a day so I considered myself a heavy vaper.

Even now that I am down to about 5-6 ml a day my kicked mod only lasts 4-6 hours and my Cutlass is good for a complete day easily. I also feel that 10 watts isn't quite enough for my liking and tend to have my RSM setup to do 11-12 depending on my juice coil and wick combos in my A7. So while I think the DNA would offer the power I want as far as I know it is basically the same tech as the kick and I don't think I would be as happy with the battery life as I am with the RSM. And other then pure beauty Battery life is one of the reasons my RSM is still one of my favorite mods.

I had the exact same experience with the Kick fright, it's a battery killer. BUT, for whatever reason (I'm not good enough with electronic stuff to know why), the DNA makes a better use of batteries. I run a 18490 in my DNA12 bottom feeder, and it goes through a whole day for me, and half of the next day. Considering that i'm vaping about 3 to 4mls a day, that's pretty good actually. So if Cappy keeps the 18650 size, no one would have to worry about it it should be more than enough, even for heavy vapers, it really is better than the kick

Indeed! My only VW experience is with a kick and battery life was awful. I actually like voltage drop off as I can tell where my battery is before leaving the house and whatnot in lieu of a meter or LCD panel.

Exciting news if battery life with 18650 is still good. As long as I can still get through 6ml with one 18650 at >10 watts we're gravy

12/12/12 - I've written it a few times today, yup, last time.

Busy /making shipping desk caddies, spending half my day doing that lately, but don't want to make people wait too long from this point until X-mas, I would hate to be the "Grinch that stole the vaping accessories" this year

Also have some repairs to keep working on, got some tricky repairs this time around. Still no repairs/returns on the "Next Gen" mods. Yay!

Arrr, break time.

This is what I get to do for many hours every month, sit and watch the machine run. These three take about an hour each to run in the CNC machine, then need to be cut out, sanded and finished before they can get shipped.

I am also taking a lot of time to go through all the panel wood, piece by piece and sand it semi-smooth and am now slowly putting on a coat of poly-urethane on both sides so the pictures of the panel wood selections on the website will now reflect what the wood actually looks like when completed. It was very hard to tell from my previous pictures. I have around ...150? of them to do, I'm about 1/4 done.

What a difference eh?

And I also need to fit in working on the new designs too!

btw, I checked the battery fit, 18650 still a bit tight after putting finish on it, so I will take some more off tomorrow after it dries again. Don't want to have to do it again later
