Ahoy! happy weekend all, anyone doing anything fun? Wish I was .... maybe I could find some ... maybe I could go to ... ah hell, maybe I should just buy a new PC game ....
You normally lose power? When I lived up north losing power was a big concern, frozen water pipes and all .. but that was northern Minnesota at -40 degrees too.... brrrrrr, I forget why I moved to Florida sometimes! Warming up cars, scraping windows, heat tape for waterpipes, snow blowing the driveway (ok, I liked snow blowing sometimes). No, I'm fine here now!
It's a decent 32 degrees, but 27 mph winds, 17 degree wind chill ouch! We've got a generator running, but you only get 60 degrees from the furnace out of it or it pops it's breaker. Not to mention the gallon of gas per hour.
Ahh well, it's normal up here. We're used to it.

Where I live is pretty rural, so they get the cities back up and running pretty quickly leaving us country folk without power. I guess normal is just the duration of the outages

You bet I did. Once it was on the classies, I knew I had to jump on that. I missed when the OG owner had it up. I actually kept in touch with the second owner and hammered out the deal. The Rose is really all she is meant t be. Happy to be her Captain.
Just an update. I finally used the rewards to get a couple of A7's. It worked pretty good. Just click on to your account and click on rewards points. Then, you click on to redeem. It sends you to the gift certificate options. Choose your options and you will get your gift cert code via e-mail. Then go back to the RSM site and choose whatever you want to get and use the gift cert code upon checkout. If there is another way to do this, then feel free to correct me. The only problem with it is that it will only give you a gift cert pay option only and you will have a balance to pay if your purchase is larger than the gift cert value. I will assume that the balance will be paid prior to shipping via pp email? Either way I think the rewards program is a pretty cool way to take care of us repeat offenders. Thanx Cappy.
Great, glad it works, mostly! But, there is a glitch as it should have asked for the balance via PP, I have David looking at it right now as I don't know what I did wrong .... technology, who needs it! I was happier when I was a boy, making pretend guns out of 2x2's with bent nail triggers, arrrrr!
