Drip tips addicts want to know if they could have a preview of the batch Cappy, so that they can start hunting for matching drip tips. Do you think that's possible?

I'm not sure if that's a good idea. They look so different during construction, the wood pores are clogged with dust, they look dull, have belt sander scratches, and pits, holes, voids and such that still need to be filled in. The last batch I posted some in-process pictures and immediately got some PM's and E-Mails from concerned buyers. I would rather avoid that this time, and I still have lots of work to do before they get some finish on them.

This batch I actually sanded and put a coat of finish on the panel wood selections for the website so people would get an accurate idea of what it will look like when finished. The pictures on the website would be a better representation of the finished mods for now.

I am having David go through the panel wood on the website and display them all again, even the ones that were sold out, so they can look at their selections again. Arrrr

Well, all the desk caddies are done, packed and shipped. Going fast as I could and even working a long day yesterday it still takes two days of shop time to do 4 caddies. Now I can get back to routing mod bodies, yo ho!

Another short weekend, especially since the power went out right as I got some free time

G'afternoon maties. It's a dreary day in paradise, so I decided to sleep in. Checking in for a spell. Well I guess a staycation means I can catch up with sleep. Gonna head back down below deck.

I got some interesting news from Brandon over at evolve. He said that the current versions of the DNA 12 will have a 5 click on/off function and also a 20 second cutoff. Great news! But I will be keeping the mechanical on/off switch as the 5 click on/off function will need to draw a slight current for the monitoring circuit. Cool though.
