Those are beautiful!! I love pics like this that show so many wood combinations.

The first pictures of the batch on the drying racks. Remember! They still get more sanding and finish.

Very true!

Every batch has that one that my eye is immediately drawn to that I would have never picked. This batch it's the curly tiger maple/bright red wood of some sort panels. Stunning!

Ahoy and good morning me 'earties! Almost forgot to pop on for my daily AHOY!!

Just had to order more juice, this time I got 8 mg of nicotine. I started a couple years ago at ..26 mg? Something like that, then went down to 18 mg, 14 mg, 12 mg and now 8 mg.

In a few months I would like to drop to 4 mg, then 2 mg, then none!

I was wondering for anyone passing through the thread, how many mg of nicotine you started with and what are you using now?

I am curious, I wonder what percent of people who started vaping have weened themselves of nicotine and quit altogether?

Anyway, back to work I go, arrrrrr

Good morning crew!

If you haven't seen this yet, it's a petition to keep the FDA out of ecigs in the US. Only takes 2 minutes to register and sign. About 5,000 more signatures to force a response from them!

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pe...igarettes-accessories-and-associated/RQLBYRsd

I was going to post that here too. I can't believe there're still 5.5k sigs to go after so many days. There're definately enough vapers out there. Too bad I'm Canadian.

I started at 18 and it was very quickly (immediately) too much for me. So I dropped to 12 and stayed there for some time. I'm at 6 mg now and am thinking about dropping to zero. I wonder if I will get the same satisfaction from vaping without the nic?

Exactly the same here Pchela.
Started 18mg, felt too strong and went down to 12mg in first month. After spending a few month on 12mg I went to 6mg. And after realizing I'd been vaping much more than ever on 6mg, I just started to buy 0mg and 6mg juices of same kind and mix to get 3mg, because I just can't see myself vaping even more than now(although some people seem to manage twice or more than the amount I currently vape which is around 3-4ml a day).

My complaint is obviously the throat hit. 6mg was almost perfect for me TH wise and 3mg gives me almost no TH. I don't feel anything unless I take a long drag. I don't think I want to go down to 0mg just because of this. I wish there were some non-toxic additive available to boost up the throat hit.

I started with 36mg many moons ago and went down to 18 pretty fast after that. Been using 11-12 mg since last March.

I was using over 6 ml a day when I first dropped the nic to 12mg, but I'm down to 3-4ml now. I tried dropping nic to 6mg but went through 30ml in 4 days and went right back to 12mg.

If/when I get to 0 nic, I'll probably still vape anyway. When I quit cold turkey back in the day, I'd get real fiddly with my hands and eat a bunch of candy. Vaping should keep the hands/mouth addiction sated.

The only blue county in Texas!
I signed the petition several days ago and have been trying to spread the word. :)

Is it really the nic that adds the throat hit? Nothing else can be added to help? I don't like a lot of throat hit, but some is nice.

Apparently my county has banned all public use of tobacco products.. including e-cigs? I need to look into it further and see what they actually banned.

Signed the petition, it was actually pretty easy to do. Go do it!

Even at zero nic, I might still vape. My Cinnamon/menthol mix is just soooo tasty, like candy :D

My mom has never used Nic juice. She quit smoking with the patch and 0mg juice to help with the oral fixation part. She doesn't vape as much now but still never goes anywhere without her RSM. The act still helps with stress and she loves her Caramel Waffle juice.

As for me I am still on 15 mg but thinking about going to 12 next time I mix some up.
