My destroyer dna 12 arrived a couple of hours ago and I'm really lovin it. I have a efest 18650 IMR 2000mah button top in it and it fits just perfect. I also tried an AW 18650 IMR 2000mah in it and it also fits great. I'm really lovin this destroyer. Mine has the pistol grip and is made of all African wood. I'm just so thrilled to own this work of art (thanks Cappy you did good). I don't vape at high wattage usually in the 8 watt range. I have a 2.1 ohm Penelope in it and I'm in seventh heaven (really). So I set the Destroyer to it's center potentiometer setting (~8 watts) and bam nirvana but just a little too much, so I'm vaping it right now at around 7W. I love how easy, using the thumb pot, it is to adjust to taste. The size of it is around 1/2 to 1 inch smaller than my VV Destroyer II. It's very comfortable and the convenience of using just one battery is awsome as well. I have to give this APV two thumbs up. If I had 4 thumbs I would definetely give it a 4 thumbs up lol. I am so happy I pre-ordered this wonderful mod. This is my 5th RMS mod and although I love all of them this I can see will be my favorite. Thanks Cappy you do excellent work and I couldn't be happier! Got to go now because it's hard for me to vape on my new VW Destroyer while typing.

Awesome! This is the first review I've had for the DNA models, I'm really sweating it out hoping they are received well. I wonder if I could figure out how to copy and paste this onto the review section of the website. Hmmmm.

Oh yeah, Waho said he's liking his too, arrr!

Cappy, I hope you figure out how to get it on your site. I wish I was more articulate (I hope I spelled that right lol) but words can't describe how happy I am with this unit. I love the way that African wood looks to, it's very close in color to my Babinga Ali'i is. If you can't figure out how to get the review onto your site let me know, PM me if you like and I'll type it back in word for word onto your site in a day or two from you letting me know. I think it's the least I could do cause you hit a home run with this one, I take it back, more like a grand slam!

G'night matey.

Well, I've been vaping on my own Cutass DNA for what, 2 months now? I guess I have some thought to share about it.

Battery life. Using the Efest (Panasonic) IMR 18650 2250 mAh batteries, the batt life seems to be about the same as dual 18350's which for me is about one full day of use.

Using the EH IMR 18650 2000 mAh I'm getting about 3/4 of a day vaping. I tried using the Trustfire 18650 batteries and one of them will drive the DNA board but the two other batteries won't put out enough amps to run it correctly.

The set it and forget it nature of the variable watts is to die for. I don't see myself ever going back to VV after vaping this for a month. As long as you put on a atty/RBA between 1.1 and 3.3 ohms it always vapes the same way.

Juice usage has increased by about 50%! I just can't seem to let go of it like I used to do. My cinnamon / menthol mix is too much like candy now, can't stop!

The DNA "Clicky" button with square black button is working flawlessly. The larger area of the button feels better on my finger. I have yet to have a failure to fire or have to double click to get it to fire.

Once in a while I get a bad hit or no hit and find I have to spin the battery to make a better connection with the battery tabs. I've not taken the time to give them a good cleaning but the DNA12 is drawing a lot of current and needs a good connection.

After running a huge batch of them, I think the design is solid and doesn't need the usual "tweaking". I guess after designing 15 mod variations I can finally get it right the first time out.

btw, the review section on the website is broken. When I combined the pre-orders onto one page it stopped working correctly and I was unaware of it. David is going to make a new web page specifically for mod reviews and is going to try to get a gallery of mods made as well. (I've been asking for a gallery for 6 months now).

Have a great night, arrr!

G'morning maties. It's time for another installment of rtrain's show and tell.
Here is the show portion

Sorry for the pic quality, I lost my regular cam and had to use my phone cam but she is still a beaut.
Now the tell part.
Like waho said it is nice to not fiddle around with the setting when swapping out atties. Just set it and forget it. She seems to deliver a smooth vape through and through. I will have to spend some time with her to really give an accurate review but so far I am very satisfied. And she is so damn PRETTY. She is not pchela's Blue, she is Pacific Blue. Gotta find my cam for better pics though.

Ahoy and good morning!

Why do they look so blue in pics? You can easily see the green with your eye, but not with pictures ..arrrr

Well, this next batch I have some more dark turquoise, but I'm sure it will look blue in the pictures.

Woke up and went right to work, managed to get 2 desk caddies finished that needed to be done and gone today! The rest can go out Monday so crisis averted, heh.

Now I can spend a relatively relaxing day hand sanding & finishing the rest while half watching some tv :)

Later all.
