It's clearly that and I also need proof outside cartoons and Charlie Chapman movies that actually HAPPENS.
Banana peels aren't even that slippery and even if there were, I just don't see banana peels all over the place.
Maybe there was education and safety measures put in place after the great "slipped over a banana peel" summer in 1923?
But I still think it might be for that. Bananas are sneaky.
