i can only try and make the thread a joyous place for you all to come and relax and throw what ever is out there that u may wanna post(within the ecf guide lines of course) and try and be there for u all if i can...as you have been for me.

Hey guys, planning my evacuation from Hollywood Beach. it's looking really serious. Probably won't leave before fri/sat morning. I was thinking of staying with a friend in tampa, fl., but I just a call from my brother and he suggested that we meet in Atlanta, Ga., (Buckhead) for the weekend and stay at a 5 star hotel and party the town. And if my condo is still here in florida, I'll drive back down. Turning lemons into lemonade.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning by 6am. I went to see about topping my gas tank off, but that was a no go. Gas stations were out. I have enough fuel to go about 275 miles... a full tank gets me 325 miles. Wish me luck.

If anyone is in the forecast areas of Irma, do yourself a favor and evacuate. We evacuated for Katrina and I know people who stayed and "rode it out". Every one of them say it was the worst mistake of their lives.
