It's at night, when perhaps we should be dreaming, that the mind is most clear, that we are most able to hold all our life in the palm of our skull. I don't know if anyone has ever pointed out that great attraction of insomnia before, but it is so; the night seems to release a little more of our vast backward inheritance of instincts and feelings; as with the dawn, a little honey is allowed to ooze between the lips of the sandwich, a little of the stuff of dreams to drip into the waking mind. I wish I believed, as J. B. Priestley did, that consciousness continues after disembodiment or death, not forever, but for a long while. Three score years and ten is such a stingy ration of time, when there is so much time around. All FL people evacuating to the panhandle who can't find or afford a hotel, Baldwin county(near the Florida/Alabama line) just approved to open up a 44000 sq ft building (address is 19477 Fairground Rd, Robertsdale AL. 36547.( 251)947-3247. It has kitchens, bathrooms and will hold 2000 people comfortably and up to 5000 if needed. They also have outside shelters made for pets etc ..they are setting things up and will be open tomorrow for those in need of shelter! Missed you all here. I've come to realize how much. I actually was thinking of you guys while I was driving to Philly & NYC.
Crazy drivers all packed in together like a giant metal snake winding,darting around the cities inches from each other,
and me in a tractor trailer
. I actually like the city madness.been doing it for decades.I dont stress,just hum along with the sounds of the tires (no radio in truck.. )
I'm working nights again,after all this time, just wears me down a little trying to sleep days w all thats going on around the neighborhood ,but I'll adapt. MAN,I'm tired. 3 /14hr shifts,and a 12 last nite. Kicked some azz and got shjt done. Lotta miles, about 1500. For 4 nites, Locally,50mi radius.

UPS (and fedex) are slammin now, and its just gonna get busier. Get your holiday stuff done soon. Lol.
Might take some pressure off us this year's holiday season,and we can gave some time w our families. Never thought of that have you
