Well, I don't know about the rest of them, but I drip and drive.
But I don't recommend that for everyone.

For those that aren't capable of dripping and driving, a cartomizer may be a necessity.
I just wish that the burning filler material was not an issue anymore.

Not that I have burning cartomizer filler material, because I am experienced.
Just that newbies are not, but I guess some might consider it a small price to pay.

I have not had a burnt filler issue with the 510 cartomizers... maybe you should give it another chance

first time my GF ever said "WHATS THAT SMELL!!! ever is with a carto used about 10 minutes after refilling once...and well the taste left something to be desired...to say the least...

i will try the 510 carto, but over a year of the 901 and 801, 8 months with 510, i got the cart and drip system down. throwing out the tip when chew marks look tacky, filler when it gets gummy ...er..more fuzzy looking and a hot water rinse dosent work.

yeah, i can see this starting a jihad or something, might be fun. :) to watch, i think it going to be what works for me, wont work for you, and so be it...at least there is something else for peope to try....and take money from BT and BP still. how ever we do it.

Hi 'Bianca'...did I thank you for pointing me to the 510 cartomizers? ;-) AND the eastmall carto deal? If not, here you go! I just cant remember...

RE: the flavor, I would agree the flavor is slightly less in the cartos...but not much IMHO. I've never had one with burnt filler AFAIK.

That's "Ms. Montgomery" to you. ;) You know, I don't think you ever did thank me. I mean, how incredibly rude of you! And what's wrong with your eye, Tim?? Wow.

I have noticed with a few of my liquids that the flavor is less, but it's so little of a difference that it's not bothersome to me. Small price to pay for the hassle free vaping I'm getting with these cartos. Yes, they can burn...but I believe when you "get to know" your cartos, you can prevent that from happening.

I have tried the cartomizer from a friend who had it. I personally am into cartty, atty, batty. =)

I take out the filler stuff that comes with the cart. Instead, I use pyramid teabags as seen on an online video as cart material. It works well and doesn't burn at all. The cart need to be topped off around 5 times before my KR808 380ma batt needs recharging.

Good & consistant amounts of vapor with a 60/40% PV/VG solution.

I personally always thought that cartimizers would be defeating the purpose of the money savings you get when you start "digital smoking."

I love the 510 cartomizers!

IMO they DO detract from the flavor just a bit though, but I'm not not much a "juice snob" (don't take it the wrong way - it's a term used in the gourmet coffee industry all the time except regarding coffee) nor am I a "wine snob" (I like a $10 bottle of wine just as much as a $50 bottle) so the difference in flavors is not bothersome to me.

I am a bit of a "coffee snob" though, but just a tad.....

You can refill them until you notice a decrease in output, then toss it. I use one full cartomizer a day and a few pulls off a second, no fiddling, no messy tea bag, no flooding, no leaking, can sit it down in any position, just pure vaping.
Can your tea bag do that?

As a relative n00b in the eSmoking game, I tried V4L carts via adapter on my 510. Not such a great experience. But, in getting my gf started on the eCig bandwagon, decided we should try the 510 cartos.

I was pretty impressed. Held a ton of juice w/o leaks! Great flavor and vapor production of my 510 were not affected at all!

The convenience is key. An atty might last longer, if you want to constantly be blowing it out, soaking it between flavors, and avoiding menthol at all costs. But, I value my time, so I will probably be a cartomizer from here on out!

There is a reason that cartomizers just became available for the 510 instead of atty's and cartridiges becoming available for the KR808.
Popularity does not always equal safety.
They need to fix this issue, and I can't see how anyone can deny that.

But it seems all those that agree with me have been shut down by the masses.
Soon it will be nothing but silence on this issue.

Blowing out a 510 atomizer takes 25 seconds.
And that includes getting up and pulling off a square of toilet paper.

And no matter what anyone tells you, soaking is not necessary.

Just today I blew out my spare atomizer that was last used for Atomic Cinnacide.
After using that flavor I put it aside for awhile because of all the things I heard.

Supposedly, I would never be able to get that flavor out again.

Well, I just blew it out and filled it back up with Tasty Vapor Mint Chocolate Chip.
No problem whatsoever.

1) Blow out your atomizer from the cartridge side, not the threaded side
2) Blow it out twice for good measure, if you aren't a blowhard like me
3) Drip new juice, vape, and enjoy!

Oh, and do yourself a favor and get a delrin contoured drip tip from Super T Manufacturing.
You deserve it!!

I totally agree with you...yes burning of carto filler is a huge issue...

I've tried cartos from one company and not only did they taste bad but they had the burning issue..then I got some other cartos from someone else and havent experienced any burning at all with those... both have been KR808 cartos....the 510 cartos I've seen alot of posts on about burning filler material...

The worst part was one of those vendors' response to the burning carto filler issue was to blow it off and say well cartos were designed to be throw away after one use..

I like my cartos & I'm aware of the issue of the burning filler. To me, it's almost a non-issue since cartos were never meant to be re-used in the first place. You can't really complain about something performing below your expectations when you're not using it within the guidelines of the manufacturer... Does that mean, that I fill them once & toss them? Nope! I use them until they drop off in performance or just outright die. Even if I were to buy 30 cartos + 30ml juice a month, that still only ~$45-$55.

i really loved dripping with an LR atty and drip tip on my eGo...until the atty died after 2 1/2 days after i got it. i drip whenever i'm at home (which is where i'm at 90% of the time anyway) so instead of investing in some more LR attys, i'm going to try out a 5v PT that's on the way.

whenever i'm out or i'm too engrossed in a movie or book, i used to use the standard cart/atty combo, but i just got some 510 cartos yesterday to replace those. i mean even with the BFD cart mod, i found myself having to top off a cart pretty often, so it almost wasn't any different than dripping and i wasn't even getting the full flavor of my juices.

so far i'm really liking the amount of vapor from these cartos and how long i can vape on them too. i can't really comment on how the flavor compares to dripping yet since i'm still trying to vape off the pre-filled juice (should've gotten blanks), and i feel like it's taking FOREVER! ;)
