The Aero 510 and 306 only come in 1.5 ohms, there isn't an Aero 901.

For the HH357 I would get 2.5 ohms. They can do fine with 10 watts.

For other Ciscos I would stick with 3 ohm. 8.3 watts would be about perfect for me.

I see. Aero is out then. OK.
So my 2 batteries are stuck at 5 volt period. It seems i havent really gotten my answer but making headway. Thanks for input.

Thanks. I was headed in that direction (2.50 ohm) hh357 901 then found out i only have $16.00 in the bank account..... Friday will be fine again. Gee where did it "all" go? Not that its very much
Or since its going to be the hh357 maybe i should do the 2.00ohm and do the 2.5 ohm on the bridgeless when they are back in stock.

2.0Ω on a 5v may be pushing it, but the HH may keep up??? My only problem with pushing it that hard to start is you don't get a chance to "break" it in.

Okey Doke. 2.5 it is. And thats what i was wanting but feared 3.00 was what would be recommended. I used to low reserve warm vape but things change.

10+ watts is pretty hefty for a regular atty, but not too much considering I sometimes go to about 11+ watts with a 2.2Ω at 5v (it just depends on the juice and the atty sometimes). My adv is 95% of the time about 10.91 watts with a 2.2Ω Joyetech at 4.8-4.9v.

If i knew what my 5 volt batteries were doing watt wise that would help me relate to your numbers better Mr Mann. Basically its a 5 volt non battery manual passthrough which uses a 2 amp charger and wall plug or a car cigarette adapter charger 2amp
Thats it thats what i know. My other 5 volt uses stacked batteries and somehow does 5 volts....there was something about a resistor in the head and also mention that the resistor made it possible to use various ohm atties...GLV...remember I picked it up on itrader here? So they arent VW or VVs. Maybe i should ask better questions huh

If it's putting out 5v, then all you need to know is the ohms of the atty. Yeah, I talked to Jay (the guy who makes and owns GLV) and he told me the same thing. So, for the GLV, I don't know what it would put out or how it would resist.

Technical Stuff!

What a brainstorm. Go to glv site and see what they say! Duh. Im now to 3.00 ohm. I almost never go over 9 watts on my Vamo. Depends on juice but ..incredible the differences between vapers and then the atties change. I better even test to see my GLV is the 5 volt one...shows 6 and 7.50 too. Its second hand. It does fire things up! I do like it. Its getting a 3.00 atty pretty darn sure unless it tests at 7.50!

carry on everyone. This dingbat is getting there now. Thanks for the pushes

If you ever have a specific question for Jay just let me know and I can run it by him. They do have a number listed on the site, just in case you want to call.

Fay, can you post a pic of the GLV you got?

I've only seen one glv in the flesh. Omg it hit like a tank. Last year that was way hardcore. I liked the look and feel but I was destined to be vv or vw.

Oh yeah! I have never felt a TH like the GLV (Jay let me hit his personal GLV). Eventually I'll get one because I must support MI vendors, but I just don't know which. I think I want that Super Mini GLV just because. I tell you, that has got to be the best button out of all PVs! Sure there may be some as good, but better? I don't think so.

Man, if I didn't have this doggone ProVari, I may have more PVs. LOL

I cannot load pics. IPad user with at&t phone service. It requires wifi. And probably someone smart to play with application store and updates galore. Like I have 5 apps waiting and needs wifi. So far cant be bothered. But its black with silver head and end cap. I think its some kind of plastic? Its post 2011 meaning it has the resistor built in the head. I almost bought a new one about a dozen times then this came up on classies. Im really trying to be careful! I started out out GREAT! Very frugal for the 1st 6 weeks. Then i discovered ecf..... BUT it IS better this way....i would have been frustrated for a couple years but determined ya know? Now its been 8 months and i hit little "what do i do?" but most everything is making enough sense for me to be able to get the most out of it all. Just spent a LOT more than zi planned on. So easy to justify. Its for the greater good, it will be there for me if times get tougher, the knowledge how to save money does not come free. Especially for someone weird in the brain like me. I have to see it feel it and all that, usually do every wrong thing first before i get it. But i get it so...it just costs extra money. Its cool. I love learning things, not everything but when the motivation is right its a blast
****
I think the 5 volt is what gives the throat hits...but then probably depends on atty...soooo I do know my two 5 volts with their proper atties are what i vape with for WTA except when i use the Phoenix dripper we arent supposed to mention. But now it needs a little tweeking i dont want to bother with until the mood hits. The unmentionables ( i have 4 different ones) are not convenient but i still will keep trying them. We might end up having to if prices go up on things or availability keeps being difficult. Its nice to have the options.

Yes. They are my main attomizer standard reserve genuine joyetech 510s. Im looking for atties for my 5 volt devices. One needs 808 or 901 so im wanting 901. And then something different for a change in 510 for vv bottomfeeder wood mod i might vape higher voltage and the GLV 2 Its a 5 volt and takes a 510. Kinda got it figured out to get 3.00 ohm
Thank you

Have you tried the standard resistance (2.3 ohm) Joye 510 atomizers yet?

Got my first set up and the joye 510 sr attys in the mail yesterday. I debridged 2 of the attys, killed one by cranking it up to 6 volts :( 2 bucks down the drain.

I am having fun experimenting :))

You debridged them to start? Uh oh, D2 is lurking! LOL. No, but seriously, I get experimenting, but there isn't really a need to debridge an atty in the beginning (and some, ahem, would say there is no need, ever! LOL) Welp, at only 2 bucks a pop, have at it!

First, considering you must have a VV, you should start it out a little easy and break it in. I begin with 4.2v and incrementally, over the course of 24 grs, go up to 4.8 and then after the atty has proved itself worthy, I take it to 4.9 and maybe 5v if it is the Secretariat of Joyes. hahaha. I never go to 5v to begin with because for 1) that's too much on a new atty (IMO) and for 2) it won't taste right.

Check out a link I posted in this thread for Ocelot's methods of handling an atty. I think it is a good read.

Using a kgo 1200mah vv (3-6 volts) pt. Thanks for the info...no higher than 4.2v for the first day, 4.8v after that, 5v if I am feeling lucky :)

With a standard Joye that always reads at 2.2Ω (out of countless Joyes, I've only had one that read 2.1 Ω) I start at 4.2 and then go to 4.3, 4.4, (and if I get antsy) 4.5, 4.6 (and then if I can't wait any longer I make a huge jump to) 4.7 (and then because I am about to bust) 4.8v! LOL. I ususally bump it up .1 every 45 minutes or so. It takes a day because I get tired of breaking in an atty and go back to one that is already warm and wet. :sneaky:

Drip, Drip, Drip (Ocelot)

My method is slightly different than this, but this method is sound and will keep you good.
