I've vaped it, was camping and there was nothing else around except some 100% cotton in my first aid kit, wicked it, juiced it, took a puff and it tasted a bit off, took the tank off dripped on the coil fired my mod and blew on it till the wick started to dry out then did that 3-4 times 3 drips each time, put my tank back on and it tasted as good as organic.

The tax farm known as USA.
Honestly... If it were really organically grown with no pesticides it would be full of weevils.
Some form of pesticide is used or they wouldn't get a harvest.
I grew up in the south and worked in cotton fields as a kid.

Organic labels don't mean what most think they mean.

stop it now, you cant reason someone out of something they haven't been reasoned into
its all about mah feels

Lots of people use Koh Gen Do. Also Muji, or Puff, come in the same kind of "pad" form and are used often for vaping.

It's my favorite cotton product. Performs noticeably better than ordinary organic for me. There is enough in that box to last you a couple of years too :thumb:

With the pads, make sure you cut them along the grain instead of against the grain. If it becomes dust when you try to roll it, you did it wrong. Ask me how I know

A few days ago I rewicked in almost dark room with light coming from side. Just happens so it was perfect to see all the dust coming of KGD pad while cutting. I do not know for now if I want to continue with pads. Back to cotton balls? But pads are so convinient...

I just look for the purest, cleanest cotton I can find. I use muji mainly and cotton bacon (had a bunch given to me).
http://www.reddit.com/r/ecigclassif...apanese_cotton_mine_and_muji/?sort=confidence

So I emailed Muji after all the posts of people complaining that Muji sells a product for cheaper.

"Dear Broderick,

Thank you for your interest in MUJI. For MUJI Ecru cut cottons: [4548718561247, Cut Cotton / Ecru] and [4548718561254, Cut Cotton / Ecru - L size]

Are they organic? No

Are the untreated? No

Are they unbleached? Yes

Is the cotton used grown pesticide free? No

If you have any further questions, please contact us at (877) 414-9402, or email us at online@muji.com.

Best Regards, Georgie"

Koh Gen Do is the only cotton I use, mainly for the reasons you posted above.

Cotton is the only thing I won't buy from a vape store, due to the outrageous prices, and you can never be sure what your getting.

Oh course it's treated, they are supposedly sterile. One isn't going to find any cotton without some chemical bath or such. If it isn't bleach its peroxide or the rain falling from the sky while its growing, lol.

Ive used the round pads and thought they were kind of a pita. Just been looking for something I can just pre-cut, and refill that high budget "Wik Stix" tin from time to time.

The square pads should fit the bill for you then. You can cut the pad in half then cut strips. :)

Keyword is I can find, I never stated I looked for organic. Actually I don't see organic as any better than regular cotton.

I also try to stay away from bleached, so muji does meet that criteria. As I stated cotton is a crap shoot, you never know what you really are getting.

Also if KGD isn't treated, it isn't sterile. It also isn't pesticide free, they use "natural pesticides and natural fertilizers". Also just like with copyright laws, different things fly over seas.

ehhhh go with Rayon... no pesticides no bleach, no peroxide, wicks better, not expensive, no wet T-shirt taste.....

but if you want the ultimate in wicking.... natural sea sponge picked by red headed mermaids during the high tide and full moon in August on the north shore of Hawaii.... really rare stuff.... very hard to find and extremely expensive.... :)
Meh...

I've tasted a lot of wet t-shirts in my time.

A few of the finer points of my observations. ..

Some are mighty tasty with hints of peaches (maybe and cream, french vanilla or chanelle no5.

Some have no taste at all. Though this rarely coincides with how much taste the person adorned with said t-shirts has.

Some you can tell how old they are by counting the age rings of their core often located in the armpit area. These often have an overpowering taste that stays with you for the rest of your life.

In fact, it's a miracle i can taste anything besides some of the flavors i still carry around to this day.

My wife is like a sommelier describing some of the earthy, sweat sock over tones as if she's traveled the world. Though from kissing me, I guess her tongue technically has.

One trailer park at a time.

Did somebody mention midget sports?

Not saying it actually happens with any cotton product.

But sterilization can be accomplished with uvc light bulbs.

Sterile simply means whatever is on that surface can't reproduce.

What's really funny is Muji means plain or brandless, no one company makes Muji cotton. Depending on brand you buy it can be organic or not.

Koh gen do is a company started by an actress, which means their cotton is also subcontracted out to the best bid. That means there again not necessarily made by one or the same company from year to year.

Therefore cotton is a roll of the dice and as popular as these cottons have become, don't think for one minute there isn't some China knock of company throwing some stuff out there.

ohin Keikaku Co.,Ltd. (株式会社良品計画Kabushiki-gaisha Ryōhin Keikaku?) (TYO: 7453), orMuji (無印良品 Mujirushi Ryōhin?) is a Japanese retail company which sells a wide variety of household and consumer goods.

Muji is distinguished by its design minimalism, emphasis on recycling, avoidance of waste in production and packaging, and no-logo or "no-brand" policy.

The name Muji is derived from the first part ofMujirushi Ryōhin, translated as No Brand Quality Goods on Muji's European website.[2]

So not sure where the person sent an email to.
