I started vaping at the beginning of 2012 and have unfortunately gone back and forth to analogs, partially because my dripping setup does not lend itself well to travel in general and driving in particular, which I do a lot of.

I have been using a couple of different Super-T Precise Plus mods with DC atties. I am looking to finally get away from analogs altogether and think that a tank set-up might be ideal. I have never used cartos.

I am also interested in adding a regulated mod to my set-up so that I can get more consistent battery life. I am looking at the Provari, which apparently is a huge hit with everyone who has tried it. The ability to dial in flavor depending on the atty/carto appeals to me.

At any rate, any suggestions as to tanks and regulated mods would be greatly appreciated. Price level isn't terribly important. I just want something that is very reliable, doesn't leak, and produces great vapor. Hope that isn't asking too much. :D

Thanks in advance.

Well i dont think batteries will leak... I kid i kid i know you meant tank.

Well, if you dont really care about price and travel a lot then the (ugh!) Provari mini is a good choice. The ugh is because im a strong advocate against Provaries (yeah, big secret...), but they are very good devices indeed if you can comfortably afford one.

As for tanks, many people live and die by carto tanks and theyre something of a bread n butter system. So if you want a good vape but are not ready to rebuild your own wick and coil yet (RBAs) then the AGR tank receives very positive review.

Take a look on the list of forums, there is one specifically for Provari users. The benefits of Provaris is probably the hottest topic on the board, along with plenty of arguments against them. I love mine and highly recommend it, but do your research, there are definitely other options. I went from 510 batteries to this, so I haven't tried anything else.

Wait... what just happened, did you actually suggest a Provari? lol, never thought such things could happen. I own a Provari, and I love it. Provari's are solid pieces of equipment. I almost never recommend them though, and I won't here. As far as delivery devices go... IBtanked, or Valley View Vapes tanks are great, and I would recommend Ikenvape carto's but they can be hard to get a hold of at times. Boge cartos are my second favorite, but again... if you can get a hold of ikenvapes, than do it.

A ZMAX is the same thing at half the price.
No... Just no, not knocking the zmax, but they are not even close to the build quality, or durability of a provari. And yes I have owned both. The Zmax is not a bad device, quite good in fact (for the price) but if your going that route, than a Vamo is an even better choice.

Why do uu advocate against the Provari if I may ask?

I simply dont want to spend so much money on just a battery when i can get all the features (and more) with a $30 VAMO. The Provari is tougher, sure, but i never find myself doing anything that may damage my devices anyway, so the extra $150 for the toughness is a waste in my case.

And its not like the VAMO or Zmax (which is beautiful, btw) is so flimsy that it would crap out if you look at it the wrong way or anything, i have dropped mine countless times onto concrete floor and it still works fine. I dont think im gonna drop it from like the third floor onto the ground to need the toughness of a Provari. And if i do drop it like that, you know what, i deserve to lose the $30.

Oh and the tapered top of a Vari bugs me, just doesnt go with anything except maybe a ZAP which is wayyy too expensive for what it does. There are beauty rings to compensate but one costs like $20. Yeah, for a metal ring. And since you are already so invested in a Vari its hard to fold to another $20 even though you know its overpriced (if you play poker you know exactly what i mean)
