Wow. This thing is blowing me away. I swore off RTAs for some time because I couldn't take finicky wicking and muted flavor that plagued so many of them. I decided to make one last attempt on the authentic and I'm so glad I did.
I read through some of the initial pages on this thread about build quality. I don't know if it's just mine but the threads couldn't possibly be any smoother and the overall quality is top notch. If I did I blind test I wouldn't be able to differentiate the flavor from the reload to a goon/icon/pulse/tm2 etc. absolutely ridiculous flavor on this thing.
Now that I'm back on the rta train I think I might get a Sherman but this reload is really all I need

Can you clarify? Are you referring to the original or Kindbright clone ?

I think he means the authentic :)

The Reload RTA will be one of the best devices in 2017 and perhaps the best device in 3 years since the Aspire Nautilus was released.

Hearing about leaky O-rings, sharp knurling on the top cap and nearly-as-good comments about the clone makes me think this is one device that is worth the price of the authentic.

I don't mind China crap sometimes and have plenty of good clones but the Reload RTA is just one of those devices that is almost iconic and brand worthy.

Well I am not cloning around with the Reload. My order for the black Reload authentic from Evcigarette is in.

Now I can sit around for 2 weeks and wait for it to arrive in Sydney lol

Now the clone leaks, they all do but I have found a fix, this makes the clone a very temping prospect.

The Kindbright Reload leaks due to the bottom o ring, if you replace this with the Serpent SMM bottom o ring, it fixes the problem completely.
...

Thanks for this...now leak free.

Hi,

Which botton o´ring you mean, the one where the glass seat or the one bellow the base?
Mine is leaking in the AFC, not in the glass, I tried to put some ptfe tape and did not work.
Thanks
You need to change the one that's on the base, but if you're leaking into the afc it sounds more like a wicking issue, make sure you're wicks are long enough so that they reach the bottom of the wicking Chanel's,can't believe I got to answer before Heartsdelight did

Thanks for the reply Frank.

I wicked it in all possible ways and yet it leaks.

Sorry to ask again, just to make it clear, the one in contact with the glass or the one under the deck, when you unscrew the deck?

Sorry to ask again, just to make it clear, the one in contact with the glass or the one under the deck, when you unscrew the deck?[/QUOTE it's no problem you can ask as many questions as you need to my friend,I changed both of them as the one that held the glass in place was WAY too loose,so was the one on the base, what would happen was that as soon as I started to fill up the tank it would leak from around the outside of the glass it was horrible,I still get leaking now and again because you have to make sure that those wicking Chanel's are filled up completely or else it will leak,by that I mean those tiny slits that you see after you wick it up,cause what happens is once pressure gets broken by you unscrewing the top cap if those wick slits aren't filled in that's were juice gets past the cotton and floods the deck and afc as well, hope it all makes sence what am saying it's kinda hard to explain lol,but at this point I think you're leaking is wick related, try cutting your wicks a little longer so that they go all the way down the wicking Chanel's,then use something pointy and move them over to make sure it's all sealed up,let me know how you make out ok ;-)
