This would be my first time for modding.
I want to try to build a passthrough & I have a working kr-808d battery I can use to get a connector from.
The connector is the part I need to make this.
How do I safely remove the connector from the battery or is there a RC type fitting, or something that I can get at Radio Shack that will work with 808 or 510 cart's

See the "mod at your own risk" header :)...and this is only if Dougie's method doesn't work...if you have a dremel with a cut-off disc, score the tube shell where the connector is pressed into the tube, the tube is usually stainless steel and brittle and will usually break, which is a good thing...also, I've removed the connector from eGo batts using a pipe cutter...

Take your time...It's !!!REALLY!!! important that you only go deep enough to cut the batt tube shell because you never know if, where or how the protection pcb is and there maybe a strip connection running down the side of the batt from pos to neg which you don't want to come in contact with your pipe cutter which is in contact with the outer tube, scared yet?...but you never got this info from me...
