I have vaped my grands as low as .2Ω without any problems at all...
Yes... that's why I spent $10 on contacts from your Reo on my clone. I still spent $100 less on my mod than most authentic owners.

vaping for me is about not smoking and saving money. sure the authentic is better made. But I'd don't start loosing money on the clone till I have to purchase the 4th replacement. I bought the clone to see if I liked squonking... I do.... if my next mod is going to be a single battery mech and I have the cash I might buy the REO. But at this point I'm leaning to regulated mods or multi battery mechanical.... both of which eliminate the Reo from consideration.

Its about time you admitted it...

The great thing about a Reo is you only have to purchase "1" to last a lifetime!!! There is no such thing as having to purchase a replacement!!!

Can you please stop trolling the Reo now?

So are we saying .2 is fine on a Reo grand? This seems low from what I read before.
If you have ever read any of the Reo forum you would know there are several of us that vape or vaped in the .2-.25Ω range regularly... This is primarily why Rob made changes to the Reo line...

I can't say I have, but this is good to know!
I have a Malstrom on the way and a low build will be happening.

-Rant on. Many people will never spend more than $25 on a mod because it is just not in the budget. So it is one of two choices: Either buy clones or smoke cigarettes. I wonder; would the "authentic faithful" rather see these "peasants" just smoke cigs??? -Rant off.... :grr:
{I make my own mods rather than spend $$$ on authentics.}

I couldn't agree more.I have spent more than $25 on several pieces of vape harware,but i think my highest one was maybe $60,no way i could afford to spend $150-$200 or more on a single mod.To people who can,good for them,but there are a lot of us here that simply can't.

Which is precisely the reason why buying a clone does not hurt Reo Mods. If you don't have the money for it, you will never buy one. Besides, virtually everything in the vaping world has been cloned/copied. Why WOULDN'T the Reo be copied eventually? :p

Clone users are not the TROLLs of this thread.

I can't help that you feel shame for spending all that extra money on your mod.

Fact is you are still living, I assume. So you have no Idea if you Reo will last a lifetime. You only know what the advertising claim say. Just as I have no Idea how long my crappy cheap clone will.

Now the fact that I need to make the exact same upgrades to my clone as I would have had to do with a ORIGINAL Grand. The only real difference between the 2 I can find is craftsmanship and maybe methods of construction.

Even if my mod never fails, I just loose them, I can still buy 4 more before I get to the cost of a single Reo. OK, 3 more since I vape at low enough ohms to need upgraded contacts.

...

However, I personally would have bought a beat up used REO before even considering supporting someone who has stolen Rob's tedious design and workmanship.
ok I will shut up now.

FYI - Rob sells clone attys on his site, so using your logic, he is also a thief. Drilling a hole in the 510 pin of a clone atty and naming it "RM#" doesn't make it anything other than a stolen design.

I'm not knocking Rob, and I am not anti-clone - just pointing out the hypocrisy of the post above.

As for the Creo, I couldn't resist for 20-some dollars (FastTech I think) and had one for about a week - then gave it away in the PIF forum. I am glad that folks are enjoying theirs, but it is NOT a Reo.

Out of curiosity, what were the shortfalls of the Creo?
My complaints regarding the fake Reo are a somewhat crappy paint job {I sandblasted mine and polished it} and the battery contacts are somewhat marginal for sub-ohming, so I gave mine a huge upgrade in that regard. Oh, and it is not available in LP {I machined the catch cup down 3mm with a mill}

Now I have a great performing, shiny & reliable mod that just happens to be dirt cheap. I would buy another one if I needed another mod, without question. ;)
