Awesomelynotawkward,
I fight a similar battle bro. My wife was never down with me smoking. She sees vaping like your wife does, putting chemicals in my body that I should be able to do without. She will not be complete happy until I quit.

I don't see that happening anytime soon though, or ever, god willing.

I have had to acquire all but my first 2 REOs covertly. The second one was the most difficult. I had to hide it until Christmas. :). She's lost track now. I just keep em right on the counter.

She probably secretly admires em for their beauty :)

Stay away from bright primary colors. Get blacks and silvers. They are not so obvious :)

Super_X, you are correct about the the submissive colors like black, grays and other dark colors. The wife doesn't notice those to easily. However, what are you going to do about Woods? I mean, the ebony Woods are beautiful, but so are all the other ones. I'm going to take your lead on what to do!

You send my your wood and I send you my metal VVG With a RM2 unused in the bag and we call it good?

I'll jump on the grenade and explain it to both ladies :)

How does 1 get cool doors?

Seconded, how does one get cool doors?! Must have one!!

I hear ya on the wife front. The woman who lives in my house also is not very fond of my vaping. If I'm on this forum or looking at stuff I always hear "You love vapor more than me" lol its kind of a running joke, but there is a very hidden sub-layer of disdain :2cool:

That layer of disdain is not so well hidden in my house. She's delighted I no longer smoke but now that much of the free time I used to spend playing video games and hacking my phones has morphed into time I spend playing with vape gear her disdain for video games and phone hacking has morphed into a less intense disdain for all the time I spend making coils in the name of SCIENCE

I used this tutorial to make a light box for work. It worked pretty good until we went to move into our new location and I just threw it out. I haven't had a need for a light box since then so I just never made another one. If I ever decide to get back into photography, I will likely build one for home use.

Any of y'all know what would be a good light box setup for taking pix of coils and REOs? I need to be upping my game.

Stats, you play any BF3 XBOX or Halo 4?

GO to ebay and search "light cube." You dont need anything big or fancy, in fact you don't really need a light box but these will work. You might want to pick up a tripod as well and the size of it depends on the camera you will be using. Doesn't have to be anything great if you are using a small camera and you'll be using it to to make pics of coils and Reos 98% of the time. Light cubes allow you to get shadowless or soft diffuse light if that what you want. You can set them on a table near a window, take them outside, whatever. Tripod allows you to take long exposures, lots of depth of field if that's what you want, better control of composition, and easier to get focus spot on when doing this type of macro.
