Actually, tonight I am getting truckloads of creamy vapor from my mod.
It has occured to me that everytime the vapor was poor, I was probably flooding my atty as i was regularly getting juice in my mouth. Especially at night, when its dark i cannot see the juice cup (im nocturnal, i never turn the lights on lol, the glow from my iMac or TV is usually all I need :) )

Anyways, I think I have perfected the blind-squonking technique, and I am getting much better vapor from my mod.
Just like when I first got it :) Makes me even happier the fact that this is not a fresh battery and ive been using it for hours already :)
I'm now worried though I may have pulled the battery early a couple times thinking they were low lol

Great news there is a learning curve and flooding the atty is probably the most common

I told myself my Grand would be the last bit of kit i bought, but now I'm looking into get a vv grand lol
If I do I'll probably sell both my Apex Ultramax's and my boge revolution, to absorb some of the cost lol
Anyone used the VV grand? Didn't find much info on them :(

THey just went on sale for the first time tonight, so only the beta testers have them. Check out the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/307194-vv-reo-grand-ii.html for the most commentary from actual users.

I've got one...and there's actually a lot of material about it. But it's a lot to sift through. So I'll give you a hand and point out some info that might be helpful.
First useful resources. This http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/270331-free-reo-forum-thread-index.html thread is an ongoing collection of threads that are useful ...many are, but I'm not indexing all 2400 threads

Here is a collection of threads that discuss the VV Grand:

The user guide...

Okay...so now that's out of the way. What would you like to know? Some of the things that I find remarkable: The back corners have been more rounded for a more comfortable fit...especially for those of use who have small hands. The button has been moved to the side...it is very comfortable and easy to use. It is slightly taller than the Grand, but otherwise the same size. It has the same hot spring that drops the batteries away from the positive contact in case of a short....however, the fabulous electronics have protection built in to stop a short before it gets out of hand. The voltage dial is easy to turn with your thumb...no need for a screwdriver. And you of course are already familiar with the feed system. The most enjoyable part of vaping with this device is the constant voltage throughout the charge of the batteries. No voltage drop until the end....and the best part is I can simply dial the voltage up or down to suit my juice. But I am a fussy one...and I need it to be simple. Those who know me well know that it must be easier than smoking. :) And that it is.

I hope I have answered some of your questions :)

Thanks guys.

Today I tried one of my Smoktech atties that I ordered last week. Not happy with them :(
They produce good vapour and more of a throat hit, but I'm alternating between flooded atty and dry hits, and not able to find the sweet spot in between.

I thought it may be due to the fact that it has a gigantic bridge in it.
So I tried removing the bridge and wick. I ended up pulling the hole coil assembly (in its little white frame) up the atty.
I tried pushing it back down gently with a toothpick as far as it would go taking extra care not to touch the coils.

Anyways, after my raping the atty, it does't seem much better lol, I'm even getting dry hits when I can feel the atty gurgling.
Maybe I burnt it, so i tossed that attie hahah

Instead I decided to try a 1.5ohm dual coil carto that I had left over from when I went wild buying 1 pack over single type of atty/carto looking for what i liked lol, I havent even tried most of em yet , hahaha. Anyways the flavour is so much duller, but I was impressed with the vapor and throat hit I got from it.
Maybe mixing the flavour a little stronger on these will get them just right. Also plan to switch to a 50% VG/PG blend if I do switch to make the cartos last longer.

Anyways, thats enough ranting from me :p
Time for a movie before I go to bed tonight

Cheers
Kev

IMO, this is the best atty for a vapor pig. HH.357 Long Barrel Hybrid 510 Atomizer - Avid VaperIt takes a quick strong pull to get it performing right, but it gives absolutely the best flavor/vapor/th of any atomizer I have ever tried. You should know that getting one is a gamble, as some people do not like them. I couldn't say exactly why, I think everyone has their own reasons. The thing I hear a lot is hot juice spitting in their mouth... well the long barrel takes care of it completely for me.
IMO there is no better vape with a stock atomizer and unregulated device than a HH 357 long barrel, either 1.5 ohm at 3.7v, or 3 ohm at 6v.

Thanks SammyT

I did see those atties for sale on vapebars webshop, I've been thinking of trying their juices for a while, now I have an excuse to try them out :)

Great thing about the HH's is I see they sell bridge less/wickless atties ;)
Dont have to worry about wrecking them, lol

Before tday I had only debridged 306's. I havent got a set of tweezers/pliers small & strong enough to debridge a 510 without raping it, lol

Yeah I been thinking of ordering them in bulk to offset the shipping charge to Oz.

Anyways, checked out a google vid and learnt the proper way to debridge a 510 atty lol.
My 306's I used to just pull the .......s off haha, can't do that with 510's.

Is it just me? Or do atties lose performance after debridging? Maybe I'm doing it wrong lol

I have always noticed a increase in performance... Have you looked at any RBA's? Maybe one of those would be up your alley. I know it seems like a big investment up front, but overall the BF users have reviewed them favorably to be used on a grand. There have been some issues fitting on other reo models.
