Bet he was thrilled with a ladder for his birthday!

T
It's a really NICE ladder. It folds down to a couple of feet, then telescopes to 12.5 feet. He used it already to make the windows all dirty by washing the roof of the RV.

All that work washing the windows pffffttttttt.

Yep, he loves that ladder.

BUT he is gonna love his new REO even more :headbang:

payback for gittin him a ladder??? hehehe j/k glad he loves it. But jup, a new Reo is da bestest present!!

I know right? Give him a toy and he just has to put it to some kind of use. It was a huge box and I couldn't hide the delivery from him though.

He'll be at work when his REO arrives so he won't have a clue :D

It's so nice to "see" all of you.

Hi everyone, had a interesting weekend, a huge windstorm hit the West Coast on Saturday, my power was out for about 30 hours, did a lot of reading and was asleep early, we only had candles for light. I have got to go and get some rechargeable lights for next time. I did experience some ECF withdrawal symptoms though, lol.

We got a whole lot of nothing in Eastern FL.

And speaking of REOS, my Grand comes back home today after a trip to the spa for the new 510. She's out for delivery.

It looks like you do not need to be home to sign for the REO when it's coming home from the spa, is that accurate?

It was a doozy. Winds up to 90km/hr (that's 56mph for the one country in the world that still uses such measures :)), heavy rain. The combination was deadly for trees that still have their canopy and are brittle from the driest summer in, like, ever. We were out of power until this morning, and yesterday I piled up all the fallen branches in our yard - about the size of a VW camper van (that's how we judge volume here on the hippy coast).

Fortunately, I had a dozen charged batteries that I did up on Friday for just such an occurrence. The wife, the cats, and I all hunkered down in the basement playing yahtzee (which the cats cheat at, of course).

Those dang cheating cats win every single time!

Glad you stayed safe and had batteries :)

I went to sign in but it wanted to use my camera. That is a no-go for me. It looks like this is similar to skype without the options though.

Good afternnon, Reoville!

this thinking about moving is exhausting. it's really gonna suck once my habitual procrastination runs its course and i actually have to do anything...

Val-- so nice to hear from you. i'm surprised DH can still use the trippy tip. also surprised that you remembered to call me "Den"-- even though you are the only person on the planet allowed to do so without recrimination :)

now all i need is for Laurin to check in, so i can blame him for something :)

How in the world could I ever forget my Den?! And yes, he uses his trippy on his reomizer.

It's 5 pm Maine time, and my shipping number is still not in the USPS tracking system. I got the number at least. Such torture, and it isn't even for me!

Gotta tell all of you about this wicking material...it's the bomb!! I've been using the same wick for about three days now...usually i have to change them about every day as some of my juices are a little dark.

it's called Texas Tuff. Here's a pic:

I took your word for it and bought some. I am using cotton, so if this is a bit more heat resistant at sub ohm I am sold!
