She saw something, I don't know what...and took off. I was on the ground in a split second. I fell back, and hit my head on the tire rim. It nearly knocked me out. Everything went black for a moment.

Simba hates people. A couple weeks ago bible thumpers came knocking and he slipped his collar. I was in the process of telling them this would be the last time I tell them to never come back. Dora is usually real friendly but she sensed my fear and anger when sim slipped free. They started to run then saw her. She had been friendly at first but she planted her feet in an attack stance and bared her teeth. First time I've ever seen her do that. She will be 2 in November. So yes they do read us and react to what they read. Now we will see if this batch of bible thumpers change their religions process and make a do not return list like I told them to.
If you axe me, Simba doesnt hate people, simba restores faith in people 'cuz he reaffirmed the bible thumpers faith by walking away with all their body parts in tact.

Darrel, you may be housing a holy dog and you dont even know it yet son!
Now about your loaded question about of how I'm doing--that's better in a PM(I mean, conversation) since last time I was around contantly I was a small fixture in REOville. I don't wanna make the lounge my own little Soapbox, depriving other REOvillians of their thoughts and musings!

All in all, I can't be too bad or I wouldn't have the time or energy to take jabs at my canadian brother from another mother!

kkay, thankful you were able to talk about the experience. Could be worse, hun. Please rest.

Deb, g'morning hun. I hope you have a better monday than I!

One day is pretty much like another. Sorry you're having a rough one
Well then deb 'n rest of REOVILLE, if one day bleeds into the next may I start your week with an uplifting song by Joe Purdy

Wash Away Video

I got troubles oh, but not today
Cause they're gonna wash away
They're gonna wash away

And I have sins Lord, but not today
Cause they're gonna wash away
They're gonna wash away

And I had friends oh, but not today
Cause they're done washed away
They're done washed away

And oh, I've been cryin'
And oh, I've been cryin'
And oh, no more cryin'
No, no more cryin' here

We get along Lord, but not today
Cause we gonna wash away
We gonna wash away

And I got troubles oh, but not today
Cause they gonna wash away
This old heart gonna take them away

Mz Torey was sure up early!

Yeah Deb, I was and again this morning also. I'm slipping back into my old routine. heehee Enjoyed chatting last night. Was sooooo planning on sleeping late from the two all nighters but was wide awake at 7:45. I predict a nap in my future. We also had an big rain storm after I got off. The dogs didn't appreciate my timing on going to bed. Isn't it nice that they don't bark as much here? Their H A P P Y also.

You have no idea!!!!! Seems like the older I get. . . the spunkier I become .

Kay is my mentor.

bahahahahaha

Iwish someone told me in my teens that the older women get the more "punkier" they become then maybe I wouldn't have been so impatient!

To add insult to injury, if kay is your mentor then that explains some of the spunkiness in your posts so you and deb please consider yourself one of my lil friends who reside in my iPad, as my fiance' puts it

Hi Ville LTNS!!!!

Ever start to thinking that the more you listen to your MD the worse you get? That was exactly what happened to me so I quit seeing them. I'm slowly recovering from numerous health issues by going almost vegan 'cept for organic eggs and I also cut out all gluten. Nothing packaged and never eat out anymore. Hard to do but its what I needed.

Anyways hope you all are doing well and enjoying your mods. The reason for this sudden appearance is I find myself in the need for 18650 batteries. I see RTD has more options on their AW line. What's the general consensus on the best choice for my RG at the moment and does I think ECF5 or ecf5 still effective?

Missed all of you so very much,
Nutz

Boilednutz, aloha!! My dear friend you are missed but not forgotton. I still have the local newspaper you sent me all the way from hawaii, in prestine condition!

Dogs know how we feel just from our body language. I think they can sense a chemical change too. I know they can sense fear. As long as the unwanted visitors just knock, barking is good enough for me. But any funny business, and things should escalate with the dog's behavior. I have a "no soliciting" sign on my door. I don't know if people are just blind, or they ignore the sign. Maybe they don't know what that means. If someone comes to my door, you cannot carry on a conversation there anyway. The barking is so loud, it is useless. My son's dog is teaching my dog to be a watch dog on the property. (her genes would have taken over, but now she is receiving lessons from the old dog) Right now she is sucking up the A/C in the house. It was 105 deg out there, with 112 heat index. Hot as a desert like hell, to me. I bring the two dogs in during the hot time of the day. They take a nap then mostly. Then before supper, I let them back out. About 7pm they are in for the rest of the time. The old dog looks sort of like a pit. But he isn't. Most people think he is, and they are afraid of him. He is 1/2 Boston Terrier. His mom was a German Pincher. So he was a very gamey little dog, weighs 32 pounds. (solid muscle)

My sister has a Golden that gives me a treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis everytime I go over there. She waits for me to sit down & comes over for her scratching & tummy rubs. When she.s satisfied with that, then it's my turn. She starts putting her nose on my joints one at a time. When she finds one that's hot, she starts licking it. When she's satisfied that that one is all better she moves on to the next one. If that one is ok, she just keeps going till she finds another hot one. She.s teaching their English Bulldog to do it, too. But he licks every joint. Just the joints, too! They take good care of me!
