Hey Roger, I know you're yankin' my chain a 'lil, brother. Truth be told, this whole week has been shakey for ol' RHP and my Thursday has begun terribly for me, in real life -- I mean bad, real bad. If I was superstitious, I'd even wager someone put a jinx on me -- yea that bad, folks.

I'm not one to believe in coincidence, but if I am even partially responsible for killing this thread than atleast ya'll can take comfort in the fact that I'm getting my just desserts in RL from it.

Sorry to hear that you've come upon hard times, Pat. I've had a few myself. Worst ones were a couple of stints spent behind bars--one time for 30 days for possession of the substance which must remain unnamed on this site. Now, being in the clink sucks any time and its difficult to cop a positive attitude, but I somehow reached the conclusion that I was so deep in the blues that there was nowhere to go but up. It became easier after that.
Better times are right around the corner, my friend.

Ok really though sorry your having a rough time. Know this if life's rough right now it's teaching you to better appreciate the good things in life. Sometimes it's a lesson to better appreciate the little things. Either way you can't know joy if you've never felt pain.

YAAAAAAAY! It's Friday! I had a dream it was Friday a couple nights ago and then I woke up and it wasn't and I was bummed but now I'm pretty sure it is actually Friday. YAAAAAAAAAAY! Wouldn't it be cool if every day was Friday? I mean....almost all of have to go to work, right? So if every day was Friday, we'd have the next two days off. YAA.....wait a minute. Hmmm, if every day was Friday, there would be no Saturday or Sunday. We'd have to work eternally for a weekend that would never come. That won't do. There has to be a better angle on this that I'm not seeing. Not gonna worry about it now though because its Friday! YAAAAAAAAY!

we're right in the path of it all, have had flash flood alerts since Wed, but so far have seen very little rain, sorry you're getting hit hard. I'm sure it's heading toward us, but haven't really checked it much.

Truth be told, your words touched me. Especially coming from your experiences and my brothers I've come to respect over the years here like you two.

Not like I'm the bearer of the ultimate conscience 'n an exemplar of moral autonomy but imprisonment is an injury, regardless of how you justify it. I've never been behind bars (atleast not the real ones, only those in my life).

Well I haven't floated away yet. It is still raining. I am approaching my first year of quitting cigarettes. 3 more days, and it'll be a year. I started vaping on the 31st. That helped so much. Without that I might have started back smoking.
