The rain is almost gone, thank goodness! Thanks for the vapeversary congratulations....it isn't official for me until the 28th though. I will make it. I feel confident about that. One whole year just about. It went by kinda fast.

I have always used TXU. I don't know about now, cuz it's been a number of years since I've looked into it, but some years back there was an awful ice storm in Dallas. half a million folks without power. TXU brought in folks from other states to get everyone's power restored, and customers had power back within a few days. On the street my g/f lived on, other power customers like those who had reliant and some others waited a couple weeks for power to be restored. I don't really know much about encore, the first time I heard of them some years back, seemed like they just came out to do connects and disconnects. So I don't know if they are a power company, or if they buy it from someone else and sell to you. There are more Tx folks here in the lounge also that can pipe in on their views of the elec companies.
