Speaking of which, we're terribly sorry about them flying to your country (and the EU and so forth) to crap all over the lawn.

Well you should be cuz they love our golf course so much that they never leave. (weather and food is good) The goose patrol dogs just move them from one end of the course to the other. Poop everywhere. Would you be so kind as to call them back home?

Figuring a pound a poop per day x ~700 geese = messy fairways (not that I'm in the fairways much but need to traverse them as I go from one side of the rough to the other. :)

TIA

We had a female Mallard making good use of our pool a few weeks back. My kids are older now and are getting to uppity for an above ground pool, I guess it's not as cool as an inground and you can't dive in and all that. So I decided to quit pouring money into the electric and chemicals and let it go green to teach them a lesson. The kids didn't much care but this duck loved it! She came everyday for a couple of weeks. At least somebody used the pool.

The pool was given to us and I'm now getting ready to PIF to another family with kids who've never had a pool. Duck not included.

They are beautiful. I like the snow geese too. What I especially love are the photos my friend took this year of the snowy owls that have been coming down into the states. Wish I could have seen them in person. They are absolutely stunning. Keep sending them.:)

If you like, I could send you the 4 skunks that live under our deck, some racoons, the eagle that keeps stalking our cats, and the bear that thinks my BBQ is his snack vending machine. I live in the woods.

We also get voles. Lots and lots of voles. Here's a pic of our cats hunting 4 that somehow got into the house and hid under the refrigerator...

The little mouthy one is Sato ("sugar" in Japanese), and the big one (3 times the size of her same litter sister) is Tatsu ("dragon").

Sorry for the image quality - the wife snapped it late at night on her phone. She was shaking and screaming while taking it, 'cause you know... voles.

We looked into it. Apparently, they have a strong union and won't budge an inch on this.

Ah - the famous feline paperweight/desk accessory. Yours seem to be much better controlled. Out cats do what amounts to a belly flop when they land on the desk and the paper goes flying.
