Many things in a saltwater tank have toxic defenses. She probably had a Lion fish. You also have to carefully pick your corals as they can engage in chemical warfare with each other to try and take control of the reef.

Those pretty pink and the orange flower looking things can put you in the hospital, if your not careful.
Hard to believe those pretty little things have the 2nd most deadly naturally occurring toxin. They even have they're own legend in Hawaii.

Okay, here are a few more of my big baby. I'm such a proud mama I can't resist....The last one is just to give an idea of what a big lunkhead he is. :)

Yeah, I've had numb fingers for days after messing with them, wear gloves.

Where people get in big trouble is wiping their face and eyes with a towel that has the toxin on it. One guy almost died after washing a bunch of containers in steaming water and breathing in the toxin.

Numa 1 - Biguy - King

Numa 2 - Prince - h ad a $2000 cornea graph when he was 2 years old.

Numa 3 - Shadow (7 year old daughters Xmas present 2014)

Great looking cats, james.

The wife and I have two very similar examples. Here they are hunting voles under the fridge (we get, like, a LOT of wildlife in our neck of the woods).....

They are sisters from the same litter. Identical at birth and for the first 2 months, and then the big (fat) one took off in the growth dept (she weighs 3 x as much as her sister) and their colouring changed.

We call them Delta Burke and Lucy Liu.

Sorry to hear that, I lost my dog for a night and it was horrible. I couldn't imagine going through putting a dog down. Though at the end of the day, if my dog is in constant pain I would make the decision I think. I'm jealous you have great danes. My fiancé and I want to get a couple great danes. Wish the best for you and your family and your other dog as well.

My heart goes out to you. We lost our 9 y/o miniature schnauzer last week. It has been sad coming home in the evenings and only giving out one treat and scratching one head.
