Hey guys, Im trying to keep my Reo going good and have a few questions on maintenance. Ive got a tear at the top of my feeder tube, and just ordered a few replacements and an extra spring. Any tips on removing the tube and replacing it? Also in the meantime can I cut the top of the tube off and shorten it a bit to stop it from leaking?

Also when replacing the spring, will I just have to use the mini allen key that it looks like is in the bottom to replace it when the new one gets here? I got mine off the classifieds and it also had a few black AW batteries included, which I noticed are a bit longer than the recommended AW batts.

You can pull the tube off and turn it around. :)
Yes, you can cut the end off, just be aware that it won't reach the juice at the bottom of the bottle if you cut it too far. Ya....done that. I have one mod that I haven't replaced the tubing on....and can never get the last ml of juice out.
Gently pull the tube straight down....should come off relatively easy. To put one on, use your ejuice as a lubricant, and slowly twist the new tube on as if you were finger tightening a screw. Takes a minute or two....and you may need to set it down, walk away & take a breath once before you get it back on.
Yes, that is all you need...a small allen wrench. It might be helpful to use a little Noalox on the screw threads. The batteries you received are not the recommended batteries, however, they are the best of the protected batteries. I use both the AW IMRs and the AW ICs (Black 750mah 14500).
