Just a quick question....
Does the button on the mini need some breaking in, or is it always alittle hard to push?
my thumb seems alittle sore from pushing the firing button.
Any suggestions.

Hello Coffee people tend to over push the button when they first get it thinking they need to.Hold the mod close to your ear push the button listen for the atty to hiss. This will give you a good idea of how hard you have to press the button it shouldn't be causing you discomfort. If you find its still hard to press let me no I have some other secretes

All of the above. I have noticed the button my "new" mini does require a bit more pressure then the button on one I bought used so it may get a little easier to push with time.
You can remove your battery and push the button down it will loosen up don't bend it so much you lose the spring .Your right it will get easier the more its used.I made the positive contact a little longer this time to keep more pressure on the button

What battery are you using? If it does not have the small button on top you will have to push the firing button in further. Before DH and I switched to the AW IMRs we were using BDL high drain that did not have a button top. For DH, with his long, skinny, arthritic fingers, I had to get some tiny rare earth magnets, the same size as the button top AW IMR's, so his fingers wouldn't get so stressed.

I was doing the same, for one of my Mini;, and then, all of a sudden it "decided" it didn't like the magnet so I stopped using it. By that time the button/firing pin had loosened up enough that it wasn't as hard to push.

I used the rare earth magnets whenever I felt they were needed. At first I ordered four AW IMR just for DH to carry on his three days out of town because they don't self-drain as fast as the BDLs do. I was so impressed with the difference between the AW and BDL I then ordered four for me. I just ordered four more, which is 12 between the two of us. That's not too many or too little; just the right number.

And I agree with what others say about pushing the button harder than needed; many of us have done that AND it could also be stiffer than "normal."

Here you go: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...uick-thoughts-my-first-reo-2.html#post3089236 It works great. dogzlife was kind enough to send me a couple :)

That sure looks like it works, but I'm not really "feelin" it as far as the looks department.
I really think the buttons break in and you get used to how little one has to push them.
I found it bothersome for the first week or two but now don't give it a second thought.

BTW some of mine had a tiny nipple left on the top of the button that was sharp .... 10 seconds with a nail file and it was gone.

LOL, I just think of the look as "industrial punk". The advantage that I have found with using it has less to do with firing comfort, and more to do with the ease of locking and unlocking the button. I didn't use the lock feature before.
