Nope, side by side batts and bottle would work just fine for me because I don't care if the Reo is wider side to side.

I think it was a great idea to have this mod use the same doors as the Grands. A wise choice, Rob.
I can understand that a lot of people are out and about, for long hours at a time, with jobs or whatever, and see the benefit in dual batteries. Personally, I'm not in that situation, as a retired guy. I'm never away from my battery stash or charger for long enough to have any need for a dual 18650 mod. I'm good with the single battery design.
Dual batteries would likely make a mod too big and heavy for the kind of all-day use i expect from my Reos.
My dual battery devices end up as 'home' mods and their dual nature does not mean i get double the battery life; it just means i build even lower coils with a higher degree of safety!
i vote for a door that slides up as well.

I guess I am in the minority. I just want a reo that performs like my dual parallel box.
I can't get by on high resistance builds. And the sag on a single cell is noticeable by the time I get to work. Don't notice the sag on my dual box until late afternoon.

It wouldn't matter to me if there's a dual battery option, I'd still buy a single battery Reo because that's all I need. In fact, I would be happy there is a dual battery Reo for those that need it, Reo users everywhere be like- ♪♫♫♪ Imagine, all the people ♪♪♫ Livin' in harmony! ♪♫♫♪

On the inside? The door would have to be moved each time to turn on or off? I can't be reading that right.It will have an on and off switch on the inside!

The switch will be right at the top so really you would only need to pull the door down like an inch or 2 to get your finger in there to use the switch.
Unless rob wants to put a switch on the outside of the mod on top above the battery? Hmmmmmm... give something to look at in that large dead space up there.
I expect you would only need to open the door to lock or unlock the switch to prevent accidental firing.
Well I think will be my 3rd reo. I'll use it for all my 22mm rdas that are currently collecting dust.
I can't wait to see what this mod looks like with slots and holes punched into it to lighten it up!

This is amazing, love it! I absolutely love my grands, this is gonna be another home run for sure. Once these beauties become available, I'm definitely gonna be grabbing at least two of them. Rob, fantastic job my man. Any idea of a price point on these beauties? Do you have a drop date for these, are they in production as of yet? I knew there was a reason I skipped out on the woodvil run, originally I anticipated resin reo's but this looks even better. I like being able to wash them in the sink and beat them up a little and not have to worry about the mod.

Glad you like it this is prototype I am loving it so far . I have some adjustments to make on this mod fine tuning .
Price point they will be more money then a grand I need some time to figure that out . These will be made in house I wont be doing large production runs of these . This will be the first run of metal mods I have done in house . Normally I have the bodies out sourced at a local machine shop in large quantities
I should have a batch of these ready before xmas maybe sooner its a new process for me .
That is true and there are a couple reasons I am not using the lock built into the button . One with the on off built into the button I would need to leave the button protruding more then I want to . I want to make the button as low profile as I can .
The lock built in the button is very convenient the down side is if its not perfect it can move out of position and catch I no mine does once and a while . It didn't do this when it was new . Not a big deal but I don't want to hear about it in the forum all the time . Which is why I decided to make a simple on off switch in the mod .

this is one of the really big and great things about this mod!! All done in house!!
My grands do this sometimes. Doesn't bother me too much though. Sometimes it takes me a few tries to figure out what happened.
