I just soaked it for one hour.... and that is after I have tried it out ......sya for 3 days on and off....
I dont think that the soaking in the surgical spirits did make such a big diffrence in the atty itself but to clean it, I think me learning how the atty worked had more to do with it. The looser atty did make that the atty didnt spit the juice in my mouth. Still every 3-5 days I do let the atty soak for 10 - 60 min in the surgical Spirits so that all the old tastes go out of it, the it tastes lie a new one again.

Surgical Spirits(spelled right) is a pharmasutical grade alchol(I think it just does not taste as bad as vodca after cleaning and does a better job too)...if I am not mistaken, I buy it in the pharmacy(drug store).

I just learned a valuable lesson today. When blowing out a drip tip with a lot of condensation and juice inside into a paper towel close your eyes. I got a back spray of nic juice in my left eye and it burned so bad I couldn't open it. I flushed it out with saline solution and it's ok now but I can still feel a slight burning. This could happen when blowing out attys into a paper towel also. I hate learning lessons the hard way. :(

terry, i just learned that when my son first started having his own stuff about a month or so ago he was carrying some small bottles of juice in the same pocket as his visene and drippeda drop of juice in the corner of his eye. he said it felt like a feeling he never wanted to feel again, that he would rather be kicked in the testies, lol.

OMG! That is even worse than what happened to me. I hope his eye is ok and I hope he learned a valuable lesson also.

What a difference some basic house keeping makes!
I was about to petition the group for some advice with what I thought was an ailing Reo Grand. I received her about two weeks ago and was loving her, but the past few days have been very dissatisfying. The draw was getting very tight no matter which atty or carto I used, plus there was a general lack of vapor and flavor. Then I saw some juice had leaked into the chasis while refilling the bottle and decided to give her a bath in some PGA. I cleaned the small mess inside and also cleaned out the catch cup and blew out the feed tube a few times. While at it I bathed a few of my favorite attys and gave each a very light dry burn.

Wouldn't you know it, everything is back to hitting like a champ. Seems I had gotten so into the habit of chain vaping that I completely neglected too keep my gear clean.

Moral of the story, I need to set up a weekly cleaning regimen. But who has the time with all of this vaping to do?

BTW- my iPad serene is nicely obscured by my clouds of vape!

Thanks Lisa. I love my resurrectors and would hate to have to give them up. Nice pics too.

Howdy, still watching the 49er/Giants game. Go 9ers!!!!

Inspect the insulation between +/-, on screw end on the Resurectors before using. I had two different ones short out two different REOs in same week. They were from same lot probably; two different boxes but same order. I'll still use the Reserectors and I do have a good supply of springs. I, also, just ordered some 1.7 SmokeTech from Robert that are supposed to be the short version of the Resurectors. I hope so. When the Rs need change out there is more waste of juice than if they were shorter.

Last night I put IKV LR 306 on two metal REOs. It's been several months since I've used any attys, other than 801, as the Resurectors are so great, all round, with our juices. I had forgotten how much I love the 306 and variations of.

Hugs, Allice

So lately I've been having some vaping displeasure you could say! I vape my Reo's at HV and in my mini I stack the IFR14250's 3.2v for 6v and lately my mini has been pretty weak to say the least and it's been stressing me out. Some may say well just send it in Rob will make it all better and you have your Grande for a back up. Well I actually use both and take both everywhere because I like at least 2 flavors to enjoy at a time. I also picked up some HH357's @ 2.5 & 3.0ohm and really wanting to enjoy them. So I tried everything from cleaning to switching batteries to switching atty/carto combos chking ohms and volts etc etc... Well I'm proud to announce i got it figured out!!!!! The problem was the tip of the firing was causing some arching on the tops of my batteries so i wasn't getting full power full time. So I cleaned up the tip of the firing pin and battery top with some fine sand paper and BLAMMMMMOOOOOOO:banana::banana: I now have a large hole in the back of my head which has large amounts of vapor flowing from it:vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor:
I just wanted to share my experience, strength, and hope for the perfect vaping life!!:)
