Great news I am glad it made it back safelyWell I am back up and running. Blowing such clouds I had to turn down the voltage. Thanks Rob!

I did not know about using a file to rough up the tip of the positive contact. What a huge difference! I am back to chugging huge clouds.
I'm have a heck of a time with one of my 4 Reos. Its the first one I ever got, a black wrinkle. It keeps cutting out or hitting really poor, started a few months ago.
I have cleaned it, filed it, noaloxed it, talked nice to it and swear to it. Problem keeps coming back. I know if I pop it open and twist/spin the batter a bit it goes away. I have tired different RM2's and even an atomizer on it and it has the same problem. Today I did another cleaning, file, noalox, rebuilt the RM2, etc. and it worked fine for awhile. Problem came back after a short time.
It is, um, upsetting.
Anyone have suggestions?
If you spin the battery and it goes away your Reo is dirty are you using a fine metal file ? and make sure to get the noalox on the tip good also get some fine emery cloth and clean your battery top I assume you are using AW IMR batts ?
Could be the other end of the battery, try cleaning the top of the spring and bottom of the battery.
If nothing else works, send it to the Reo spa in Maine.

Update: Drat, while typing this I took a hit and nada. Looks like its off to the spa. Sniff, sniff. I'll miss her while she is gone. I'll send a note to Rob to today - I need to make sure there is room for her at the Spa.
I use the fast spin cycle after the rinse and it seems to be all I need. After rinsing, would it be better to dry in the microwave or a clothes dryer?
