REOs not performing well?

I keep an o-ring in the juice well under the RM2 and another thicker one in the gap at the top of the juice well. Helps keep sawdust out of the juice well, supports the atty when dropped, and looks better also.

Extra o-ring for support is great idea. My workhorses, all Silver Anodized*, take some pretty good jumps, sometimes from heights onto rocks and hard floors.

*Silver Anodized is the absolute best finish for rugged conditions. Dings, scrapes, gouges, dents hardly show as the silver anodizing is the same color as aluminum.

Don't remember the size of the top o-ring but it fits tight on the milled part of the RM2 base. I have a gold anodized Grand and it is taking the abuse very well. Have to clean often as it gets pretty dirty most days.

You can't really see this unless really up close. It was rehomed Mini 1.0 and had the gouge in it when we got it. It's the worst boo-boo on any REO we have.

Alice you allways talk about how hard you are on your reos but that ding is a baby ding that mod looks like maybe only a week after being in my care I should take some good pics of my main mod and post them its a testament to how well Rob has made them

I remember the pics you posted a while back. Agreed yours truly do show the Reo can handle anything! And keep on going to. Although I do want to see the one Rob kicked down a gravel road! lol

I'VE been having issues with leaking and the rm2. I just read that I'm not the only one and going to try the thicker O ring.

Ok so I tried the thicker O ring without success. It is still leaking into the connection and at times on the outside of the Reo. Not sure why this is happening. I've had it fir about 3 weeks and no issues until the past several days?? Sugestions???

You may need a thicker o ring

Try tightening the cap on your bottle. It will help with the juice getting pulled back into the bottle after you squonk. Look in the atty when you squonk to see how much juice is getting in. Make sure you don't have lots of juice in there.

If your wick is blocking the juice from going back down the tube you could be getting leakage from the air hole. Make sure when u squonk and release excess juice goes back down. Take cap off so u can see.

Justice is spot on your wick shouldn't be sitting on the deck of the atomizer

Thanks for the suggestions. I had my wick on top of the hole and raising it up solved my problem.

Love the video Robert .I clean mine once a week and nolax too.I decided today after watching rebulid video to take mine apart to clean it up really well since I work with Flour and man its working amazing ! Hits like the day I got it
A really good cleaning combined with new micro I just wrapped for it and Im about to pass out

Sent in a customer service message to Rob on this but wanted to know if anyone had any "fixes" for this. My Reo is new (about 6 hrs use on it) and it has started firing on it's own. The fire button originally worked smoothly but now has a "click" to it and is stuck on. The button still moves back and forth but the Reo keeps firing continually. The only way to use it now would be to use the on/off switch to fire it. I am thinking it's just a bum switch. I have not gotten juice in it or the internals (I checked.)

I should add it's a Reo Grand VV.

Thanks for the quick reply. Does the fire buttons normally have a "click" to it? I honestly thought that when I first got it the button worked smoothly. It has a click that I can both hear and feel. (Perhaps I am just having a senior moment.)

It doesn't normally have a click to it . its possible its the button but from my experience when the mod does this its the chip . Looks like you under warranty send her in I will get it back to you quickly
